I have never played a male warden, or a male Hawke, and only ever got to haven with a male Inquisitor, and that's it..

Played tons of different Wardens and Hawkes. It's more about this game itself.. I don't have anything against femQuizzy.. just can't find the energy.
I guess I prefer male Warden/femHawke though.

No, he found out that 'someone' was flirting with Hawke ......... I didn't tell him ![]()

I prefer the men because of the voice acting. I like Nicholas Boulton's Hawke better than Jo Wyatt's, and Harry Hadden-Paton is my favorite of all the Inquisitor voices. If I'm going to be listening to my character speak in the game, I'm going to make a character with the voice I enjoy hearing the most.

I like AWR, but the entire time I'm playing an Inquisitor with her voice I'm thinking "Oh, I prefer how HHP does that line. HHP does that line better. I like the way HHP says this." There are times she can sound a bit shrilly to me so I avoid any of the more 'aggressive' dialogue options.

I have minor crushes on all my male DA and ME characters.
Why do I make them so perfect? It doesn't help that the male VAs have been on point.

I'm thinking about buying the comic for someone as a Christmas present. But there's also another book that would be a great fit. How to choose?! ONLY 8 DAYS LEFT, HELP!
Are comics so expensive you must choose between?
(But what's in competition with Fight Club?)
He'll be back .....
I kinda think so too. I just don't feel like they would have phrased it the way they did if he was supposed to definitely be considered dead. Even in the Keep, it simply says he stayed behind to distract the demon. Not saying that optimism guided my choice, but I would probably be more surprised if he never resurfaced than if he did.
On a related note, having no prior DA experience, and no basis for the Keep decisions I made for DAO and DA2, I have managed to never even meet Loghain or Alistair, so it's always Stroud. I left Hawke once, but generally speaking I've assumed I would care too much about my own character to leave him or her behind like that.

Y'know, one thing I really like...
Sera isn't in the pranking business to make people suffer with bad jokes.
She's in to have a bit of fun at other people's expenses.
Putting a small piece of something under Cullen's desk? Harmless. Bucket of water over the door? Harmless!
Touching Leliana's personal things for the sake of fun? NOPE.

Naah, the 'problem' is that the guy also has his birthday a few weeks after Christmas so it's just a decision of what to get him first. I'd rather not give him two books at once.
The other book is a novel a German singer/songwriter published this year, we went to concerts together and listen to the guy's music when we get drunk hang out together all the time so I kinda think that one would be better as a birthday present? Like, more personal and all that.
Giving him that comic will be great though, both the movie and the book are one of his favourite things in a quoting-stuff-from-it-all-the-time-way.
Whee, thanks Akbo, writing this reply settled this little problem of mine. Your next drink is on me! ![]()

Woohoo!
It may happen some day. But finding out there was never a complete edition of DA2 did put a damper on things for me (I'll save my Bioware DLC pricing rant for all the other places on BSN where I've delivered it).
