Damn sleep!  I missed all the FO4 talk.  I'm loving the game, I can hardly put it down.

I'm playing on hard and I'm level 23 at the moment.  I've spent a lot of the game sorting out my settlements and doing the side missions.  I'm relying on 3 weapons, my sniper rifle (Dave) which I've just picked up a long scope for yay! My beast of a combat shotgun (The Berminater) and my fabulous VATs hit enhanced 10mm (Bobcat - I name my weapons  ) which also has 25% reduced AP cost.  I have 2 power arms which also speed up the regeneration of AP.  I generally only use VATS in close quarter situations.  The damage of the Bobcat is only 31 but can get 11 shots off in VATs which I usually use for blasting the lower legs off enemies and then finishing them off (if necessary) with my shotgun.  The critical meter fills up very quickly with that weapon so I can usually kill some (normal) enemies outright.  I don't generally used the big weapons because they are too heavy to lug around, and I have a couple of weapons I force myself to bring along that use .38 ammo and fuel cells because I have so much of that ammo that I just can't bear to leave them behind.  If I have really nasty enemies, I use plenty of mines to cripple them.

While I do so love the Berminator, I think my fav weapon I've seen you use was that brutal chain gun you used to take down that dinosaur.  It was just so adorable the way you sidled up and did the love tap after it was down.

While I do so love the Berminator, I think my fav weapon I've seen you use was that brutal chain gun you used to take down that dinosaur.  It was just so adorable the way you sidled up and did the love tap after it was down.

 That's the minigun, it's a bit of a spray and pray weapon.  I really had to use it that early in the game and in that situation.  As to the love tap ...

Well, he CAN be one hell of an asset, and my militarily-oriented mind (and since I'm not a soldier, let's just call it "me being completely batshit crazy") wouldn't allow me to waste it. Unless... you know. Emotions.

 

It's actually kind of sad, but it's all very... clinical.

I don't know logically unless your character is just a 'recruit all the things' sort of character, which for the most part both Kara and Ben were...why would you recruit Severis?  There is no logical or moral reason to do so.  The guy is a mercenary of the higest, and worse, degree.  He is sitting there and betraying his master to the highest bidder because he...can? I mean I understand sure his life is on the line but he just came off as so weasily.  I mean I admire his bold as brass attitude in a lot of ways as he made the suggestion, but really, if it were me, send him back to Corypheus.  The man was scum and would betray you in a heart beat.
