Strange. I never felt the urge to mod PC games. Not even Skyrim.

 

The only two games I ever modded significantly are ArmA and Il-2 Sturmovik 1946.

 

Then of course, I did have a few mods for the first Company of Heroes. And if you think I never modded XCOM, you never saw me stream.

 

Edit: Actually... I did mod all four of those in a fashion that significantly changes gameplay. With ArmA, it was the ACE mod, which enhances ballistics and puts in an actual medical system. With Il-2 it was some serious overhauls. With CoH, the Blitzkrieg mod makes things a whole lot different by adding realistic damage models, lots of more units and generally changing the way you play the game. And in XCOM, Long War changes pretty much everything about the base game.

Ask Ash, she's the expert. I only played Jedi Knight, and not even that much. You should definitely sacrifice ping and go Harbinger (server-wise) since that's where everyone seems to be.

I think my Skyrim has more mods than game... But they're mostly for the appearance of stuff rather than changing anything.

If/when I SWTOR it'll be either as a smuggler or maybe a bounty hunter....

I'm sadly not one to ask about all the advanced classes, I only know the ones I play which is all bar one character as damage haha. For a view, click on a class in that link and scroll down to advanced classes then hit view more. Shows you some abilities etc

 

the install client is always a little weird. if worried close it and re-open the client. it'll pick up where it left off.

 

edit: all the classes have a little video of gameplay too on that site.
