probably already got your answer, but no. free to play is even more restricted as you only have a couple of species available and need to buy the legacy unlock to use the others.
All classes have specific species assigned to them (3-4 for each class), human and cyborg is available for all. Once you get a character to level 50 of a particular non-human/cyborg species then that species is unlocked on that server via legacy for all classes to use.
They should start a band and call themselves that! Sis can probably by now guess the tones the various skulls emit when whacked with mugs.

So hey, I know we all have bad days sometimes. Well, I want to show y'all something. It is NOT "if you think you are having a bad day, it cannot be worse than this" because really I have no way to judge something like that.
