Oh, I've wasted tons and tons of time in ME. It's kind of sad really... since I don't care to play that many different ways.

The only game with completely bananas amount of hours in to it i've got is Skyrim. ME1&2 are next with 120+ hours in to each of them. Me3 has something like 60
Does bananas equal to over thousand? I have two games where I officially logged that...
And I'm pretty sure I'd feel bad about my ArmA 1 and 2 stats.

That's how I see most of them... Oghren or not. They're clownish.
Plus, I'm vain and like hot or cute people... tbh. I don't celebrate crappy looking things.. I think that's probably a hipster thing.
I have a theory...Your liking is actually toward a very spesific dwarf female. Namely this one:

Which i can dig. She's an alterante universe Liara after all ![]()
edit: In my case 'bananas' refers to several hundred hours...No quadruple digits as of yet ![]()

She's cute, yeah..
But I think I'm liking my Warden Commander more. I use the darkest skin color.. and instead of Liara, it's Courtenay Taylor/Jack ![]()

There used to be a lot more games that avged like Skyrim/TES. I'll play a hundred hours if the content is there. It just isn't most of the time.

The saddest thing of putting 400-600 hours into a game (Skyrim) is the fact I never actually completed the main story line. Not. Even. Once.

Huh.. Skyrim was the first TES I bothered with the main story (and everything else). It wasn't particularly better, but it grabbed me more... especially Oblivion, which just sucked. That's the game I just screwed around in.
But i still only got about 100 hours in Skyrim. There are JRPGs out there (epecially SRPGs) that are twice that.

Perfectly normal in an elders scrolls game ![]()
I've never completed Oblivion or Morrowind either despite many, many hours in both. Heck, i'm not exactly sure what the main plot of Morrowind is even about ![]()

Don't even bother. The guy is on drugs.
But he's kind of brilliant at the same time. He's also responsible for most of the lore, which I always like in TES (just not necessarily the games).

The thing i miss about Oblivion and why i keep going back is that its just more...polished. The world feels more alive, the nature more lush and the little things, like menus, are actually made to fit in to the game instead of just being the usual bland menus we get nowdays.
But yeah, i generally never even go to Kvatch. No stupid portals poppin up, just freeroam
The dlc stories, Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles, were good though.

Oh, i know what you mean about menus. All RPGs seemed better then, I think. More organic or something. I don't know if it's trend now to be more slick or mimic Flash/Web based stuff.. or what. But it needs to go.

i don't know what the plot of Morrowind or Oblivion is about and I actually managed to finish both those games.. once each anyway. Skyrim I barely got half way through main quest, it's too fun to explore.. especially if you throw a hundred or so mods into it like I do

Basically, Morrowind is about being a sort of messiah figure to the Dunmer/Dark Elves.. a reincarnation of Indoril Nerevar. Same as Skyrim where you take on a similar role for Nords.
It's just that Michael Kirkbride wrote most of it and it's... either drug infused or he's just a massive egghead. Not sure which. He also wrote the lore for Skyrim, but wasn't on the team then. They just reused his foundations... made it palpable, I guess. His actual lore for the Nords and Shor is pretty weird too.
He's also responsible for Talos and Pelinal in Oblivion.

I'm too far in with Maeve to pick up another game even though I want to play mass effect so bad. Talking with a good gaming friend about it isn't helping.
Me too. I played ME1 again recently, just because of Xbox BC.. I'll just wait till the sequels come there (hopefully).

I really should sit down and play through my latest Shepard, Artemisia the infiltrator. I've just been doing the quick side missions now. I'm too much of a completionist to leave actual quests in my log incomplete. So long as they are not 'collect dog tags' type of deals ![]()
