So do I.... but I don't think it's coming until Cyberpunk gets here. :(

I'm not nearly as hyped for the new Mass Effect actually....

Yeah, they're both a bit far away right now to help.  Though I'm a little behind on details on the Cyberpunk game beyond the basics.

There aren't any details. lol. I just know the Cyberpunk 20XX setting from years back... and CD Projekt. Which is enough for me to get hyped. :P I don't like Bioware as much as I used to, I suppose.

It's the Talsorian version of Cyberpunk, I remember that much. Pondsmith and such.  So it'll have lots of really insanely overpowered guns, and people with the kill "arrest me for X murders now!" counter implant on their arm and a wetbar in their cyberleg!

Cool... yeah, that will probably save me lots of money. I keep thinking I'll grow out of 61 keys, but I'm probably wrong.

I'd kill for full 88 keys, but my apartment is too small. I love my 76 key though. I was very lucky to buy it when it was on sale for a short while at best buy.

I'm down with it.

I'd prefer Shadowrun, but CD Projekt has way more cash.

I played some DAI online yesterday.

I am pleased to report that, while veterans and generally matches of higher difficulty are scarce, Routine & Threatening are rather thriving with new players. I had expected a bunch of empty lobbies & overpromoted vets solo-grinding out of blank compulsion; but ended up being rather positively suprised. Maybe the GOTY edition reeled some newbies in?

Too bad I don't play MP at all.

I mean, I was equally hyped for it (thanks, Keeper) as the singleplayer, but as I expected, the SP experience was vastly superior in the end.

Not that MP wouldn't've met it's hype-expectancy level, but... I didn't have anyone to play with.

DAMP, as I've said before, is odd - playing it seems really slow while the enemies are quick, which gives a sort of "treacle effect". Compared to, say, ME3MP which is much quicker overall - it feels more dynamic, so it feels like you can really move around and do things, instead of just trudging everywhere and slowly having an effect.

Don't let the promotion lords fool you, most players play on the lower difficulties.

...Not to mention the MASSIVE sudden difficulty jump when you go from clearing mobs (no teamwork needed, really) to the boss (work together flawlessly or get rekt). I played maybe 5 matches of DAMP, one bosskill mainly because one character was hugely overleveled and the rest ended at the final boss.

The GOTY edition definitely got a bunch of new players into DAMP.

I am trying to get the last december challenge done but the 25 dragons challenge is mocking me so much.

(I'm so so so so sorry @ all the players who are hosting threatening FC with their level 1s to get the extra xp to switch to Peri after one match - then there is me calling the dragon in Zone 3.  )

I prefer DAMP because the characters play very different from one another. Also, I appreciate the SP ideas I get from the borrow skill-tree composition of each one. Well, that, and I am not much of a shooter fan, so my judgement is effectively moot.

The speed is something you alter -and must- with your build and playstyle. There are very few characters that are supposed to be played with a heavy focus on, say, Passives-fueled auto attacks.

I joined a Threatening Ferelden Castle in mid Zone 2 with a level 1 Hunter, and ended up #1.

God I hate Explosive Shot.

I've still only got the initial characters, I don't play it enough to have more. And not interested in complicated build-ing either, just in fighting stuff.

The real problem for me is still the "physicality" of it - movement, action and reaction are sluggish. Sprinting (or it just running compared to a walk?) is more like a slight jog, and there's a delay between starting and stopping. There's no oomph in it.

Which I guess is why I rarely or never play it.

Ugh. Now that I'm actually playing, I'm not that keen on my dwarven Orlesian commander.. It's not very believable how people treat her as Orlesian. Or the enmity between Fereldens and Orlais with this dwarf. :P

It's better if you're HoF was already dwarven, I guess.

Ok, made my Warden a grizzled old lady. A cross between Duncan and those chicks from Claymore.

She's on her last leg..Makes sense why we never see her again anyways.

I used to hate explosive shot, but it somehow ended up back in Stashes rotation of powers. I had a little too much fun knocking enemies over with it in DAMP.
