hypothetical question time!!
You're in a public place, you have no tissues, no handkerchief, no bag just the clothes on your back. Your nose starts to run, get itchy, you need to sneeze and know doing so will set of a messy sneezing fit.
what do you do?
Enough RAM to actually play Fallout 4, some Religious items and a new IPad were the biggest items I got ![]()

So this year I played DAI, my first Bioware game.
I'm currently installing the update for Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition, which will be my first Blizzard game.

I love diablo 3!
I've found Blizzard games to be brilliantly made, but they also have a tiny selection in comparison to other huge video game developers.
Quick question guys, if I download one of the qunari hair mods, can I apply it using the mirror, or is it only available for creating a new character?
Yes, you can. It just won't show up in CC in the Black Emporium. Mods don't work in there.
Wait, so how do I apply it if I can't use the mirror?Yes, you can. It just won't show up in CC in the Black Emporium. Mods don't work in there.
Oh! Oh good, I can do that! Thanks loveYou misunderstood. The hair mod won't show up when you are using the mirror because mods do not work in the black emporium, but it still works. You have to remember which hair mesh the mod replaces and pick that one in the mirror.

I use my sleeve to wipe away any runny residue.

Recently, they have started branching out. I expect their library to grow a lot more in the years to come.
No problem. Most people tend to be concerned when they go to the mirror and find the mods they installed aren't there.Oh! Oh good, I can do that! Thanks love
I'll drink to that.
I actually got lucky and one of the hair mods I chose replaces my braids, so didn't even have to use the mirror! No problem. Most people tend to be concerned when they go to the mirror and find the mods they installed aren't there.

I like them as far as just... action goes. I just kind of tune out and don't think much playing them.
Funnily, one of the better Bioware writers is Blizzard's lead writer now.. both on SC and Diablo. But I don't think they let him tell complicated stories. He did all the Jack and Okeer/Grunt stuff in ME2.. as well as Samara. 3 of my favorites who were completely neglected when ME3 came out.

It's a damn shame when that happens. Grunt and Jack are my favourite characters from ME2. I was very disappointed with how much they played into ME3. Citadel helped with their characters though. A lot. I think a lot more than some other characters.

It made me think how petty and insular their writing team really was...No concern for fans, but what they privately cared for. They would just ignore things they didn't have as much a hand in. That or they changed characters for the worse.. Chris L'Etoile was also their other great writer, and every one of his characters was different from before. Thane, Legion, EDI, and Ash.

It sucks but it's understandable. It's like asking one person to write the next book in your series. It's going to follow a different path than what the original writer would have done.

It goes beyond a simple mistake though. Let me rant for a sec ![]()
They already screwed with Chris in ME2. He never wanted Legion to have the N7 tag. He wouldn't name names, but said he was forced to do it. And tried his damnedest to be as subtle as possible with any humanizing lines. He was forced to write the "No data available" line if you asked Legion about the armor.
I have no doubt that it was Mac Walters who did this. lol. But L'Etoile always insisted the Geth were never Pinnochios. And the minute he gets canned, they wrote a completely opposite version of Legion. One that wanted Reaper Upgrades. When the whole point of Legion before was that the Geth "build their own future". They ruined the character so they could push this whole idea that the Catalyst was right all along.
Same goes for losing Brian Kindregan and his Krogan story. The male Shaman had this whole philosophy about overcoming odds through pain and brute strength. To "ignore" the genophage. That's what Grunt embodied. The minute they got rid of him, they emphasized Mordin's take on the genophage... and put in the female Shaman instead, and try to guilt you from feeling anything else.
Jack and human biotics were a neglected theme in general.. It was big on Drew K's mind at least. I thought that was going to go somewhere interesting, what with the novels and such.

Yes, they messed with it. But like I said, it's understandable. When you're writing for someone else, you can't help but want to do it your way. Tell your story. When the original writer isn't there, you are almost given this complete freedom to tell your story exactly how you want to. There's no one pushing back saying "no, the whole point was for so and so". It does suck, and they completely dropped the ball in doing these 180's but it can't be helped. Not unless the original writer sticks with it, or writes explicit notes on exactly what the arc is, why it's that way, what it represents, et cetera. You can't argue against something that is thought out and detailed to the very minute of details. And if the person who picks up the torch decides to not listen, and produces something that goes against the whole point, then the whole fault falls on them. I do blame those writers who picked up the mantle. But I understand why they did what they did.

I think it screws up roleplaying for people though. If iit was a television series, I'd complain less. They should care about the players they got to tag along, and commited to certain elements of the series, instead of their private feelings or preferences so much.
I think it really sticks out with the Krogan though. And I don't like Patrick Weekes anyways. This is partly me just using another opportunity to knock his stuff.
I have little hope for future Bioware games now that him and Mac Walters run everything.. in both franchises, no less.
