I think it screws up roleplaying for people though. If iit was a television series, I'd complain less. They should care about the players they got to tag along, and commited to certain elements of the series, instead of their private feelings or preferences so much.

I think it really sticks out with the Krogan though. And I don't like Patrick Weekes anyways. This is partly me just using another opportunity to knock his stuff. :P I have little hope for future Bioware games now that him and Mac Walters run everything.. in both franchises, no less.

I'm going to wait until Andromeda releases to make that call, but Dragon Age, if 4 doesn't impress me, I'm done with that series.

That's fair. I can't say I'm making the full call either.. but teh hate the strong. B)

What's funny is the ending is the big complaint for ME3.. but I don't even care. It's the bulk of the game that annoys me.

Aww yeah, VtM bloodlines finally on sale. $5

First half, I'm okay with. Second half, I feel it starts to degrade. Citadel certainly helped bring it back up though, but I always save it for last, just before the point of no return; which means I have to slug through all that boring shite first.

hypothetical question time!!

You're in a public place, you have no tissues, no handkerchief, no bag just the clothes on your back. Your nose starts to run, get itchy, you need to sneeze and know doing so will set of a messy sneezing fit.

what do you do?

Sneeze. Do your best to wipe stuff away quickly and discreetly.

You kind of came to ask to the right place.

Ah, it's not that bad. I've seen worse. The ending could be better, but ultimately, with EC, I don't outright hate it.

Too bad the original plot with Reapers just a side-dish was scrapped. Because if you can remember Tali's recruitment in ME2, Quarians were onto something with stars collapsing early.

I like that Citadel revisited some of these characters, but even then, I complain about the same thing.. the writers just focused on the main crew. And it was Weekes who wrote it. lol. And the cover art was misleading, with Jack and Miranda on there.

That's what I think Drew K would have followed on. The whole dark energy thing was his idea, but a lot of people thought it was just as bad as what we got.

And it would have tied up his points about human biotics. That was his whole point why they were special. They would be the ones who helped solve the dark energy problem. Or at least, that was something he was floating around.

I'm kind of curious, why did you dislike DA:I? All the reasons people who dislike it usually have or something else?

I play RPGs because of the story. Not the special effects. DA:I was overflowing with special effects that did nothing, yet the story was lacking in everything. Reason to care. Substance. The world as well. There's nothing in it. Building an open world is fine, so long as you fill it with stuff to do that isn't just "go here, then go here and, oh look, you've completed a quest that you didn't give two shits about". The game is boring and dull as ****. I am still baffled that people actually love this game.

The only redeeming factor this game has is the companions.

I don't think so. Even if you hate the character, you still feel something for them. BioWare excel at that.

Fair enough, I do love it but I also see all the flaws it has.

...And I really have to give the ME series a go again...

I feel nothing for some. I don't even know why I'm supposed to give a **** in the slightest about some of them.

Is that what we're doing? :D

If anything, I just don't like some people at Bioware. And a few people who never post here. No problem with LightningPoodle for sure.

Well, don't go all the way, because all you'll manage with conflict is drive Ash away and make me angry. And don't get me started on all the other unforeseen consequences.

We're not. We're expressing opinions in a civil manner.

I can't tell if you're joking with me. It drives people away? Why? It's not arguing in particular with anyone... it's just having an opinion on games.

It's too bad if something is bringing you down, but that's a little sensitive. I have nothing against anyone here.

Seriously. It's fine here. :)

Aren't you from Eastern Europe or something? Here I am watching WW2 documentaries all week. I'm in awe at the kind of conflict people there deal with. You're ruining the mystique. :(

Try to remember to play the perfect little grandson/nephew/whatever so you'll maybe sneak some money to go see a certain movie in the cinema. Heheh.

Eastern Europe? Ask Dame.

Czech Republic was mostly liberated by the Soviets, but the south-west around Pilsen was actually liberated by General Patton's troops.

...what kind of conflict, exactly?

Heh. COnsidering all the facts, that is not an option. I'll be quiet about what I want, too. Bad experience sharing too much. Funny, I don't need to be afraid of telling everyone HERE I want to go to a cinema, or get a weapon replica. Funny, isn't it.

A whole bunch of conflicts.. but I'd point out the Poles especially.

Tough bastards.. that's all I'm saying. I really admire people in warzones (and other chaotic situations) who still find reasons to move on. I've been a little harsh to a family member recently for their depression, but it's things like this that make me this way. I try to have a sense of gratitude and don't think my problems are nearly as bad as most. So I get annoyed with some of the things Americans complain about.
