I'm definitely DA'd out at the moment. I can't play DAO or DA2 because I upgraded to PS4, luckily I am at peace with my playthroughs with those as all my first playthroughs are very thorough and I only replay for stuff I might have missed. The only thing is I kind of switched my canon in DAI to female Lavellan and I made her a rogue instead of a mage which is the way I usually go. So it's FO4 all the way for me (looks guiltily at TW3 which is on hold).
I think that's a good choice. It's odd enough that one Dalish was an inquisitor already... but he was a mage too.
It's put a damper even on my own human mage in DAI. :\ I feel like it's overkill if the world keeps getting dictated to by mages. I don't appreciate the irony, I guess. I'm better off with a rogue or warrior now, but I never finished a playthrough like that.

You know what I hate about the Doctor?
That actors never feel commited to that role for long. Every time I warm up to one, they leave. I haven't even watched the last guy yet.

Its kinda like Presidents. I think Hartnell stayed on for only 3 years so that sort of has become the norm even though Baker did it for 7 and then you had on the flip side people like Eccelston and Colin doing it for like 1. And McGann just got only one freaking movie essentially. But the good news about Capaldi the man is an established actor and this is his dream role so he might be around for a while.

I enjoyed playing a different spec, it just feels weird to me playing as something other than a mage - I've been a mage since I started the series. I prefer to be the support kind of player from a distance and playing as a rogue meant I could still keep my distance. I have rolled a warrior but I don't like it as much. Although it has to be said I have switched to my tank (usually Cassie) from time to time just to beat some bloody spiders to death ![]()

Constantly changing actors is a running theme Straykat. part of me thinks they just get told "sorry, we're getting a new guy in to keep the series "fresh""
watching my bf play Bastion.. should be finishing up these last two swtor class stories.. got another 1k dai pics to sort through too!

Well, I liked my mage well enough when I first played this. I didn't like the gameplay like DAO/DA2, but the character clicked for me. Then Hakkon DLC put a damper on it. I rethought everything.
You could say I just think too much.. maybe. I don't know.

David Tennant was offered the biggest contract to stay in British TV history and turned it down. Matt Smith said something to the effect of 'if he didn't leave then' he wouldn't...ever.

I know.. but...I didn't think anyone could replace Tennant.. then Matt Smith was great. The best imo. Then he was gone in an instant. :\
One look at the other guy though and I'm not excited. I like the chick.. but she can't carry the show by herself.

My rogue Lavellen was my first Nightmare playthrough, Hakkon was indeed a nightmare it's the only part of DAI where I had to use the tactical camera step by step in some battles. I have solo'd Hakkon (the dragon) on nightmare with my (human) rift mage, I'm not sure how successful I would have been taking her on a totally nightmare playthrough. I don't want to find out ![]()

I'll get around to it. Matt Smith and Tennant were big previous losses.. I just need to get over it.

Oh, i didn't mean difficulty. I meant thematically.. I felt like my mage was overkill for the history of the organization. I was better off never meeting Ameridan.
There can only be one!

What's funny is I'm probably much older than you...and I still think Smith is the best. I used to hate the Doctor when I was a kid.. my brother was a fan. The famous one back then was Tom Baker. Who I like now, but I didn't get into the show until Eccleston.

CB was at least two years, I think. Possibly just two. But I think three.
