Oh it very much is. Even more curiously, myself being 100% anti-guns in real life, yet painstakingly picky about (and worryingly attached to) my video game firearms. I have vowed to take a forced break from Fallout 4 until mod support for consoles is being implemented next year.
Mine would be Bad Dog, a sawed-off double barrel shotgun with incendiary ammo, which I use as my primary "handgun". My sniper is a .50 cal rifle with "Two Shot" perk (still single shot /w double damage but uses two ammo units per shot), called Abrakelevra.
