It seemed to pass. I fell asleep earlier, but when I woke up I noticed Stomach is only a little upset now.

Learned my lesson. Does this happen with diet soda too? Never heard of this...

15 mins if you're lucky. For me its generally closer to 20-30 mins. -_-

Well, the estimated. Some people had issues, so it took longer. With me it's between 9-10 mins between each banter.

Those times when the banter generator delivers a random one-liner instead:

I HATE THAT SO MUCH!!! Okay, so last weekend I only brought Iron Bull and Solas so they could finish their mental chess match. They had refused to finish it for some time and I was getting annoyed. I figured one last shot before I give up on both of them. Was in the Frostback basin because it's the best place to trigger banter, but they had stopped bantering altogether after a bit. Changed locations and waited. They had just one more to go to finish that damn chess match. Someone started speaking--it was Solas making a damn location comment. <_< I swore at him while my brother laughed at me. Solas did that for an hour before finally finishing that damn chess match.

*charges into the tavern carrying a cheese platter*

CHEEESE!! Where's the booze?

No, diet soda is safe. It's a kind of reaction between the flavouring chemicals and the gelatin that cause stomach upset.

Before banter triggers, the autosave wheel usually appears on the bottom and then it gets me all anxious for the next banter.

And then...

"Hopefully the Inquisition can find some way to help these people."

I heard this one so many times.

I've gone past waiting now. I found a cheat so that I click and a random banter pops up so now I usually stop before huge events and spend the banter up to this point, then I move on.
