Well, I first played on 360.. and I never thought that badly of the menu. I'll have to see what it feels like on PC.

:D liking PoE so far Rel? I love it except the combat but that's only because I'm not used to the combat style yet.

It's interesting to play.  It's sometimes weird that, in combat, there are these pauses where nothing is happening because all the characters and monsters are recovering from their previous actions!  The total lack of 'modern' cutscenes is peculiar but I'm getting used to it.  And at least the characters are vaguely animated instead of stick figures or something, though no one really looks like their portraits.

And it has one thing in common with DAI - bears can seriously ruin your day if you are unprepared or weakened or alone.  Or just at all.

Well, here's the comparison from the mod:

Vanilla is a list where you have to look at every item individually to know anything about it - the mod uses a table format which is roughly 4.76 quintillion times better.

I suppose that is better.

It goes to show that ignorance is bliss though :P Like I said, I played on the 360. That's freaking ghetto. Just improved graphics is a nice welcome.

Lord, the original Skyrim UI sure is terrible.

It's fortunate for Bethesda a non-awful UI in Fallout would actually be lore-breaking in a way. Perhaps that's why they picked it up in the first place? I mean, they evidently seem to go to astonishing lengths not to simply have even remotely accessible inventories, like every littlest indie solo developer after all; given the resources they have at their disposal in comparison.

Same here. Like being a Dark Elf in Windhelm type of ghetto; after your savegame exceeded a certain size that is.

Is that a problem on the PS3? I have that version too, but never played it. I don't remember that on the 360 though.

No, I'm on Xbox, too, so I played Skyrim on the 360. The performance damper was more noticeable on the PS3, but it was on the 360 as well. I mostly got it with lots of particle effects in play, e.g. dragon fight in a snow storm. Also the obligatory Gamebryo/Creation Engine "eternal loading screens".

As far as I know, it has something to do with the size of your savegame, i.e. the amount of (altered) variables it needs to account for etc. that causes it. I already started getting corrupted autosaves in Fallout 4, which while slightly overclocked, still is that same engine as well. Gamebryo has been around since Morrowind, and Creation is a variant that enables some better graphics; but in essence, it's still of the same making.

Ah maybe that's it. My usual habit with RPGs is to make multiple save points. Maybe I escaped it because of that.

Mmmm, pizza.

Man, PoE can be really tough sometimes.  A few bad "rolls" or interrupts and you get minced.

I'm so used to Ash using that gif... I almost thought it was her who posted it.

And Lyn is going for Trespasser. Maeve really will beat Lyna to it.
