I have a PS4 and TV since about a week and both isn't even technically mine (yet) so I'm kind of still confused about some things with it.
The thing is, everything worked fine the first few days.
Saturday I turned it on for about 20 minutes but had to go because real life, later that day I want to play again and suddenly the TV won't recognize the PS4 anymore and I have no idea why. I know the HDMI cable is working, I even checked it with two different kinds and the TV still recognizes my laptop with both of them.
Then I googled around and asked some people and apparently the PS4 is now in a resolution the TV can't show. But why? I didn't change anything, how the **** did it do it on it's own?
So I went to a neighbour two ****** times to change it to 720p and 480p again but everytime I connect it on my TV it's changed back to the very high resolution the TV apparently can't handle. I have no idea what's happening, people also tell me to press this start button thing for about 7s to go to this safe menu but the TV won't even show this.
I really have no clue what to do, everything I read everywhere which could help doesn't seem to work but I also have no idea if I'm missing something obvious here.
