I'm guessing it's an MBTI thing. Yeah, that's it. Personality clash. I think Weekes is an NTP.. and so are many of his characters. Or Ti at least.

Oh, no. No, I don't have a liking for Weekes. Actually, I disliked him a lot in the beginning when he stated all the changes he'd apply to DA's next games. But now I actually see a difference between his work and Gaider's and I'm not disliking it (let's all admit, Cole is amazingly written). That's what actually surprised me and the reason I said "Well played, Weekes."

 

I guess we'll see in the next game, won't we?

It's the Myers Briggs Type Indicator.. based off Jungian (Carl Jung) psychology. It's not necessarily scientific, but yet been used for years. I heard that even some employers have used it. It might be best to ignore it. I'm only partly joking above.

 

NTP.. stands for ENTP or INTP. E and I are extroversion/introversion. The N stands for Intuition, T for Thinking, P for Perception. In media, most of them are stereotypical eggheads. Solas would be an introverted type. Mordin Solus is an extrovert.

In fact, MBTI's creators said that themselves. They would say there isn't any real "type". Only that people have preferences.

 

This isn't an extensive test, but maybe you'll get something out of it.

I just suspect he's ENTP. And I'm ISFP.

 

There's another Jungian theory (Socionics in Eastern Europe/Russia) that would call us Conflictors. And I have a hard time doubting it. Because I've experienced it. I know it when I see it..

 

It's also why Iron Bull annoys me. He's similar, but ESTP.

It's really not that funny.

 

But I would say ESTPs and their whole "quadra" (ESTP/ENFJ/ISTP/INFJ) often have a live fast/die young vibe. And they'd be the first get stuff like this. It's like a bunch of Charlie Sheens -- and people who get abused by Charlie Sheen. And like it.
