Well, that's not good... Or is it very good?  :D

Not exactly. I started getting too chatty and hyper.

But I eventually crashed. And now I'm awake. And probably going to make coffee :P

Sweet. Jeremy Brett's Sherlock is tops for me.

Kind of like MASH for Lynroy.

This goes mostly out to Roaming (I presume from previous interactions), but I would like some pointers from anyone who happens to be savvy in the field, really:

I've lost my trusty old MagLite on my last hiking trip, and now  want to buy a new, decent flashlight. Additionally, I have this idea in my head that I'm through with torches and want a scout lantern type instead, which I can clip to my chest strap or belt. All of those go around 30 bucks at the utmost around Amazon, which I find rather suspiciously cheap - is there something recommendable out there?

I'm not certainly not savvy, but why not just another Maglite? It worked before. And you can kill bears with it. Or at least, someone could.

My other bro from another Ho!

(I'm getting quite a few of those)

They see us next to one another, and it's obvious to everyone!

Dieb!!!

*hastily hides all evidence of her Dieb Summoning circle*

I'm all here, love. Barely a trace of ectoplasma left on my coat, too this time - you're getting craftier by the day!

*coughs up a little black-purple-ish cloud of dust but quickly resumes smiling kindly*

You just made a huge leap up on the ladder of Dieb's cool people indeed. His performance is exactly as I had envisioned Holmes to be like as I originally read the books - which admittedly was the whole point of this particular adaption all along, but oh well.

I keep saying this, but I can't help but imagine how amazing a celebrity VA he'd have made for a BioWare game with this astonishing voice of his. For shame.

I don't really like lanterns myself. In your case, i'd recommend an angle torch such as:

Since I saw Sera pics, I'll just ask...is it possible to recreate something that looks like her starting armor. The plaid with red/black?

It was way too heavy, and it didn't have LEDs yet, so it ate batteries like hotcakes. Also for its size, it is nowadays still easily out-illuminated (?) by any regular LED. I bought it because I thought those security guard torches are "cool", but no sane man would bring one on a journey that involves walking multiple hours a day.

I recently got turned on to carrying vests as an alternative to backpacks, and with it, to pack a lot more efficiently. This thing was the opposite of efficient. A lantern leaves your hands free, and more importantly, you cannot drop things because you're an idiot.

I think I just got the designations wrong; I meant those. And thank you, these look a lot more durable than the ones I found.

Well, now you're convincing me. I don't hike/camp enough for it to matter, personally, but you make good points. Good for walking nights though.

Well, there is the one movie in which Arnie gets pregnant, so...

I also appreciate the capital T. Sounds like a lost sequel, next to one another.
