Sorry folks, still OOL from yesterday friggin' afternoon ![]()
And watch him trip over the first rock to be in his way and faceplant the dirt!
I mean.. yeah.. most badass templar ever!!
This is canon.
Which part?
Hey Guys,
The tripping and faceplanting part, obviously. Lol.
But that's just it! I fall and trip in such badass style! Really, nobody does it better.

It really is, imminent cat fight any minute!
Loving the Jack romance so far too. Well, flirting at least, she's still pushing me away.
It really is one of the most moving romances of the game. Serious feels.
Never tried it. I wouldn't think those would taste good together...
I was just about to dig in the back of my fridge for leftover coolers from Christmas.
Oh man, I loved California Coolers. Those are assuredly before your time, unfortunately, as they were the best ones ever. They had the pulp in it!
*starts throwing mugs at people out of boredom*
One of these days you're gonna hit Cabot and then the sh*t is going to hit the fan...
After I finished with Maeve's play through I wanted to jump back in and replay Stashes. I have his save file on my laptop...
I've considered it with Verana as well, but now that she's completely done with every possible thing and all the DLCs, I'm afraid to touch her again.

I think I might have OCD specifically with Dragon Age. ![]()
I just keep rethinking the Warden. Especially the Warden..

Tbh I'm amazed you can still play it. Hell I really wanted to play it.. I mean I really wanted to, but I just played it too much. Same with Inquisition. The only one I can play again is DA2 oddly enough.

I really don't want to. It's just a pain to get decent imports into DA2. There's a little app to generate save files, but it's got some bugs.
I'll give it credit though. I can't settle on "who" is the Warden. I have clearer pictures with DA2/DAI.

That's the beauty about DAO though.. the Warden can literally be whatever the eff you want him/her to be. And you know why? Silent protagonist. It's as simple as that. I mean I love voiced as much as the next person but there is so much more variety when it's silenced.

Maybe that's it. Although I don't feel the same about Skyrim.. the whole Nord thing just compels me to go there. Same with Dark Elf and Morrowind. Oblivion not so much.
I'm thinking female elf mage in DAO now... I dunno.
It sort of dawned on me too that we'll never get another Circle story again. Not in the same way. Same goes for Dalish. edit: And maybe even Dwarf noble. At least Orzammar.

Out of the Skyrim and Oblivion (never played Morrwind, sue me lol) I always took a liking to Oblivion. I don't know why. Elder Scrolls Online has always put me off though.
Hmm.. for DAO I would have to say the city elf origin is best. For reasons.
A lot of people dig human mage Amell though, cause he or she is related to Hawke.

City Elf is my favorite too, but now I rethought the whole thing.. just because I suspect the next game will have them again. And I'm dying to play another. It's just I don't want all the overlap of sameness.
I don't like Amell mage for the very reason. I like playing Hawke as someone without that kind of inspiration or hope.

This has been suggested to the shithouse but I wouldn't mind playing a poverty stricken Fereldan. A bit like that bloke you meet at the Winter Palace
Instead of the usual noble.
I dunno.. I just like the idea of an underdog rising up and beating the odds, you know?
I also loved the casteless dwarf origin for that reason.
Pfft I hated the mage arc in Origins man that's actually the one thing that puts me off Origins.. returning to the mage tower I hate that mission
I know there is a mod to bypass it, it's that bad lmao

That's why I like Hawke. It's the closest we got to that.
It's also why I like Loghain. He's the Human Commoner of DAO ![]()

I hated Loghain. But then I read the Stolen Throne and I guess I understood a little.. it's like his hatred for Orlais was that intense that he didn't see the bigger picture. Granted, he still deserved to die. I don't make excuses. But at least it's good to have that little bit of extra insight.
And the beauty about the DA Keep is you can play around with world states without actually having to play anything so for shits and giggles I had Logain as the warden.

That's where my OCD comes in. I wanted proper portraits that the Keep doesn't have. *slaps self*
But yeah, Stolen Throne helps a bit with him. Even if I kill him though, I still like to keep his legacy in tact somehow. Like Anora ruling in some capacity. DAO has this subtle way of making the non-nobles into monsters. I call bullshit on it. And so does Ferelden. Even if you kill him, people still think he's a hero.
