I follow The Mantra - I can't do it any other way!

 

I had more than enough Paragon points to bring both of them around, but then my Shep was just that kind of guy.

I'm at almost 4 full bars of points, somehow accidently picked up a couple renegade, but Miranda still hates me! Even though I saved her sister!

I'm not sure where you're at. If they had the confrontation, and you picked a side, then you'll never recover from it without a high persuade check.

 

In order to get that persuade check, it varies on what level you're at. The higher level you are, the stricter the requirement I think. It'll have to be very high Paragon or high Renegade at high levels. It's a funky system..slightly different than either ME1 or ME3. Same goes for trying to other things late, like recruiting Morinth/turning on Samara.

 

If you're fairly early, then you can get away with less.

Yeah, just do that. It'll probably eventually work.. you're still relatively far away from the end.

 

If not, whatever. Jack's cooler. Miranda can still survive the suicide mission, but if she stays unloyal, she'll eventually be screwed in ME3.

Just going to add..

 

The bad thing is that the Persuade option is really shady.. you tell Miranda that you're just playing Jack, and it convinces her. It makes Jack look stupid. Even to get on her good side again, you have to be cold. lol

It's a little different with the Paragon/Renegade options, but yeah. It's still cold.. it feels very condescending as a Paragon, where he tells Miranda that Jack is sensitive and you're only telling her what she needs to hear. It sucks! lol. I can't roleplay with it, since I romance Jack.

On a side note, this is why I think Control in ME3 is still very Paragon. Paragon can be a dick and likes being the puppeteer over people. Same goes for Grunt.. Paragon Shep is always admonishing him. He's like a nanny. lol
