On another note... I always save the Wardens. Is there a reason not to?

only rp reasons really, maybe your character really hates wardens? I don't know. it barely changes anything except saving them gives some war table missions.

I theorise it's solely the blight part. But I laugh everytime he says they are like maidens chasing a butterfly off a cliff, I probably got the wording wrong there but it was funny.

I think Solas hates them because they kill Archdemons, and Archdemons are connected to the ancient elven "gods" in a way not entirely unlike Corypheus' dragon was connected to him. Though Solas seems to hint that Corypheus' methods were a bastardised version of knowledge he'd gained from the orb. /tin foil hat

ETA:  Also, deconstruct what he said.  "The lore of my people."  Well... he doesn't consider modern elves his people.  So you can assume he's talking about the lore of the ANCIENT elves only, in which case it's probably true that at that time that they were around and had lore, there was no mention of the archdemons because they simply "weren't" yet.  Alternatively, he could be being purposely obtuse here and talking about Dalish lore, in which case he's right as well, but due to the Dalish just not knowing.
