hmm.. she hadn't been to the fade just yet, well not after explosion at the start of the game. This was meeting Loghain for the first time.

Oddly I liked the DAI Loghain better then the DAO one, to me he was pretty true, little wiser maybe. I still left him in the Fade but the character felt much more like him then for example the (ugh I hate using this as an example) Taegan one (dao-trespasser).

 

edit: I dislike Loghain.. a lot, but I also recommend trying one playthrough at least with him as the Warden in DAI. Worth it.

If I haven't set my world state for Iolan or Alceus to be Loghain then I'm wiping one of them and restarting.

Luckily Iolan has a world state where it's Alistair as a warden, which I haven't played.

So I can set up Alceus as the Loghain playthrough. If I've got this right... Warden needs to kill Archdemon, Alistair needs to be drunk or executed, and Loghain needs to be "alive and well", and Anora rules, yes?

Luckily Iolan has a world state where it's Alistair as a warden, which I haven't played.

I think Alistair can still have any option when it comes to Ferelden's ruler. But maybe safer having Anora rule alone but could have sworn Alistair was king in Kyrrah's playthrough, and she had Loghain instead of Stroud.

Ohhh that makes sense. My evil canon warden let Loghain live because he wanted to marry Anora and he didn't think she'd end up ever letting him rule if she begrudged him her father's death. I was sure Paris and Loghain both lived in my playthrough, pretty sure Paris had the ODB with Morrigan, but got worried when the keep was telling me to change stuff. Probably hadn't chosen Morrigan's tiles yet!
