Once I have a set of chocies, decisions, events and a romance I really really like I can't seem to deviate from it unless I stop playing the game for ages and come back fresh. Played the trilogy twice, once full paragon Shep second half-half attitude Shep, but both times half the choices things were exactly the same, and reactions to companions.. Both times romanced Kaidan *ducks under the table before someone throws something at her*

I made 3 save files in ME 1.
Adept Shepard (Female, Kaidan romance)
Engineer Shepard (Female, Kaiadan romance)
Vanguard Shepard (Male, Ashley Romance)
Then just use those whenever I want to play ME 2 (ME 1 was on a different computer, btw... One that couldn't play ME3)...
I had this thing too! but then my computer died and had to be fully system restored and I lost all of my ME saves.

I've only played ME Soldier and Vanguard, but I like the Soldier more. Gives me an excuse to use my biotic team mates more.

Then some other dickwad jumped in.. but that's another story.
ugh i wanted to jump on ME for a little bit today, and since it's a trilogy I have to start at ME1, can't just not do that BUT I dislike the first half of ME1 so it's a huge chore.. arg what to do..

As for character look tips well.. I'm not one to ask on that matter. I generally go with the default appearance cause my characters always come out all deformed looking. It's a problem that occurred with Inquisition as well, I got lucky with my dwarf.

my first Bioware game was dragon age: origins. DQ'ers got me to try Mass Effect series, and KotOr purchase was a "omg the two of them are on sale! *grabby hands*" moment.

The gameplay is close to DAO though.. that's the oldschool Bioware feel they've lost, I think (and I think Brent Knowles, who left, designed both).

On another note, I tried some new Sten mod, and had no idea how bad it would look in the game. So he got a "No" from me too. If he survived Lothering, it was his own doing.
