I saw Temple of Doom when I was 7.. on my b-day. I remember hating it. And I still do. It's bad when even a kid doesn't like your stuff.
But the others are great.
Ha this is kinda where i was going to because I HATE that stupid movie. Maybe even worthy enough to get a Tier 5 rating even. I have only seen it once and probably will never see it again. I like it less then Kingdom of the Crystal Skulls even. (Tier 3 or 4).

I always wanted a lava lamp when I was a kid, never got one, but of course my brother did. Thank you for bringing these extremely painful childhood memories out.
Derp.

I will not fight it if you report me. *sniffles sadly*
As far as Indy goes, he probably killed more Nazis than Captain America, so he's okay in my book. Though it's kind of Nancy Boy to be afraid of snakes.

I don't remember the Crystal skull one much.. but I don't think I hated it as much.
Last Crusade is my favorite one.

I won't. Believe me, I've been stumped... I'm grateful.

Though fascinating point and I was just watching Chris Stuckman review a...*looks around for a second*...*whispers* movie...*clears throat* and he was talking about how franchises often have formulas in them and the thought did strike me because a lot of the criticism leveled against DA in general is 'each game seems to reinvent the wheel' sort of thing, and the games do not have an identity. Now I disagree with the assertion but on the flip side I do not mind making changes...heck I do not mind a lot of things...as long as they work. Though I really did enjoy, I guess, how formulaic thi franchise is.

You know, Dorian kind of summed up why I really hated it. He insisted that the Inquisition is chantry based, whether you like it or not.
This is Gaider poking his head through, so to speak. And Dorian's right.
The problem is that the game itself tries to be everything to everyone.. It tries to capture the essense of DAO, but it can't. The Inquisition is not "Grey" like the Grey Wardens and this isn't a Blight and doesn't fit well with the random roaming band of adventurers. Being that way just dilutes the Inquisition in the process and isn't all that great with the story or points it wants to get across.

And I disagree that this is a bad thing, at least in DA Is case...it can be, and it is, but since this is an RPG you can ignore most of the stuff you do not like and focus on what you do. One of the reasons I think there are such wildly different opinions about the game. But yeah, then again I do not want the game capturing the 'essence' of DA O either.
DA O is, to me, the worse installment of the DA franchise. I count it seperate from Awakening.
My list goes, in reverse order. DA O-Tier 3, DA A-Tier 3, DA 2-Tier 2, DA I-Tier 1.

It's a bad thing, because the only way they could get people to care about the Chantry themes of the whole story and movement is the offchance that they believe in the Andraste/Herald thing.
Which many people don't do.
Yet feel compelled to graft themselves in all of this anyways. It's meddling at it's worst.
And it turns the Inquisition into this neutral umbrella organization now that steps in and starts deciding beliefs and politics for people.. Then *poof*. Vanishes for another 1000 years probably. And it's founded on absolutely nothing.

Next time they should use the Wardens if they want to write some universalist story again.

Vishantae Kaffas Stray made one actual post about a political issue and that now equates to 'an entire page of politics.' No argument. No disagreement. No discord. Just ugh...

They simply started with the idea for DAO.
They didn't start with that idea here. This was intended as a more specific story.
At least DA2, with all of it's flaws, knew what it was.
