Dazzle! Don't watch that crapfest Mortal Instruments show. It's like all the other YA adaptations *cough* Divergent *cough* that try to improve on the book when they really shouldn't. Those were a painful 40 minutes I had to endure. Don't do it Dazzle! Don't watch it!

Yay, i'm finally in season 5 of Clone Wars!  The latter half of season 5 and the entire season 6 are the best of the bunch.  Currently i've reached the final Mandalorian arc and i'm loving it to bits (as i do with all thing true mandalorian )

 

And whats more important that the series as a whole lets me forget about the existance of Jar-Jar Finn and Darth Emo

(but yeah, dead should bloody mean dead. Though it did give Sidious to show just how much of a badarse he really is when he wiped the floor with Maul and his brother).

Yeah about the only good thing it did but I just hate the Darth Maul fan boyism.  The guy was a cardboad cut out of a character.  Fandom: Look at how awesome and dreemy he is.  Creators:...uh fans think this character is really cool, what do?  Oh I know, bring him back!  *head desk* I mean seriously I did not mind Maul in Phantom Menace but this insistance in jamming him into every little piece of the SWs universe as this super being of awesome is ****.  

 

It proves no such thing.  First of all the simularities between a New Hope are superficial, at best, and second of all we really have no idea where the new franchise is going.  Abrams admitted that he was 'looking back to go forward' (and even then he created a very original work that did a lot of things I have been dying to see from a Star Wars movie yet Star Wars never had the guts to do) whereas Rian Johnson has described Episode VIII as being its 'own weird little thing'.

Yet now I'm going to watch Alien (1). Totally pessimistic..

I had to pay for them on 360, except those early ones (Zaeed, etc).

 

The only one I really like is Overlord though.
