That's harsh. But I do understand the sentiments actually. I wouldn't intentionally kill her mind you but she is not my favorite character in the franchise.
Either way, it's dumb to give it to a writer like that.
A lot of the complaints in ME3 can be due to those two guys leaving. Jack, Grunt, Legion, Thane.. all changed significantly.
And oh, the big loss for DA is Jen Hepler.
But people don't come to her defense. They like dogging DA2, calling her "Hamburger Hepler", but praise this game up and down.

I'll give you that.. they were mixed. It just sucks that they became the same as the Heretics. What's the point of even telling me about them?
L'Etoile in particular was annoyed with his pinnochio-iication though. Or is it pinnochio-fying? That's why he felt forced with the N7 armor thing. After he was gone, they went further into that territory..

Hmm. Well obviously to give you context on Geth culture and that decision can effect the decision, albeit in a small way, on the whole Geth joining with the Reapers thing.

I would say you are ALWAYS going to have writers wanting to go in heir own direction on many things. One of the challenges of being one of many writers. Your job is to write as you have been told to right by the lead writer or the people in charge, right or wrong. It's also the danger of writers, even lead ones thinking they 'own' characters. One of Dave Gaiders failings, his attitude about 'my characters'.

But the Krogan got lame in the same way. All of the male Shaman/Grunt stuff got stripped. That was also Brian Kindregan. With Weekes, they just pushed his Mordin/genophage angle.. Grunt is awol and male shaman never mentioned again.
Their purpose was just like the Geth. Self-propulsion. The male shaman just thought they needed to learn more harsh lessons in order to evolve. Even to the point of destroying their own planet if necessary. It was the only way he thought they'd ever learn. There was no magical solution. Just harsh survival and evolution.

I get a gif... for liking the series, buying the collector's edition, even buying the damn Felicia Day movie for crissakes.. I was a fan. Not a hater. And this game ended up only pleasing an entirely different segment of people.

i think the people at bioware don't care for that whole concept anymore. They don't rely on ideals of hard work/self propulsion, slow evolution.. it's all outward or authoritarian solutions from on high now. And no actual problem solving. It speaks of a weak mindset in general that this is what they fantasize about. Or at least, want people to fantasize about.
