If I had to sum up my annoyances with ME3 in two words, they would be Kai Leng.
Shepard acts like a moron almost any time he shows up.

 

Kai Leng was pretty good in the original version. Chalk it up to delays and rewrites :\

 

They had a whole story planned when Javik wasn't DLC.. and Ash/Kaidan became Spectres. You would run into them on Eden Prime tracking prothean data. They have some Alliance reps with them that don't trust you and you almost fight the VS. It eventually comes to a head on Thessia. One of those Alliance guys finally sheds his skin and it's Kai Leng. He forced a confrontation that made you choose between Liara or the VS. Kind of like Virmire.

 

That's how they built it up.. it was more sneaky. I think that's what they recycled kind of with Maya Brooks.. who turned out to be the much better Cerberus antagonist.

I don't remember much, but it was different in that script, yeah.

 

It had a better priority earth though. The battle reacted to your EMS and had different routines and cutscenes.

 

And they had more content. Like have you heard the unused clips of Grunt, Jack, etc..? Would have been great..

Yeah, that sucks. The only thing I liked about it is human biotics apparently played a crucial part in the series.

 

Without it, they lost a lot of their importance.
