I'm trying to write a new chapter, but my muse isn't working with me. I want to write my reinvented fairy tale story. A wizard prince, trickster fairies, plenty of sword fights. I've got all of the concepts and visuals and none of the words.

Plus, the ME:A section was almost fun for a bit there. Now I just think it's depressing again.

Anyway, I won't bring the gloom if I can help it. This thread usually helps cheer me up when I'm down.

That sounds like an awesome idea for a story. whenever I get stuck writing I just take a break, do something else and let it stew in the back of my mind until the inspiration comes back.

I hadn't really planned on having one tonight, but friends don't let friends drink alone, so I just mixed myself a Beam and Coke.

Cheers, Beren! I'm having this "Not your grandfather's root beer," stuff, and wishing I had some vanilla ice cream to make a float. 

 

But if I'm honest, I've been bad enough about the sweets today.

Hmm. I don't have any planned so far, but it might happen. The fey in this story are a lot of dirty cheaters, though, so there's absolutely no way any of them would fight fair. 

 

There's a lot of weird magic fighting, though. One of the characters has a ring that conjures a spectral lion to do their bidding.

What do you think of the name, "Marius Valdrake," for the hero? Too campy? 

 

Aren't they? It's a shame because I'm so, so excited by the idea of the next ME game. I only wish the place to discuss it was a little less chaotic. 

 

But I've certainly complained enough about that issue.

Considering naming characters are my worst enemy, I approve.
