Well I won't be using Fly Cam. The XBox 360 wireless controller works fine. Windows 10 detects it, shows it in devices, and I can use it in Skyrim.

Origin, DAI, and Flycam executable all running as administrator. the window pops up that they incorrectly refer to as a "console" in their readme.txt file, so I know that's working. Just... none of the controls actually WORK in the game. Insert and Home, nothing. Controller hotkeys, nothing. Keyboard hotkeys not mapped to a numpad, nothing. The only thing I can possibly come up with is that the complete lack of a numpad on my keyboard just borks the whole program.

EDIT:  Deleted the stupid to hide my stupidity from the world.

 

ETA:  Okay, just ignore my stupidity, Royness...    I'm going to start from scratch and install this Visual Studio 2015 and see if that does the trick.

If a separate window is not popping up then cinematic tools is not being recognized by DAI. Make sure DAI is running before you start cinematic tools.

It was the Visual Studios 2015 redistributables.  Once I installed those, it worked like a charm.  Got the console with the status messages, "GUI found" and so forth.  Oh, had to uncheck "keyboard" in that other window, though.  I guess having both it and controller checked was an issue.

 

FLYCAAAAAAAAAAAM!  For my first attempt, I wanted to see if there was actually a road at the end of the bridge to Skyhold.  NOPE!

It's going to take some getting used to.  But I do like that I can change the FOV and have that hold even when I revert back to normal character control.  Also that there is a reset to fix that when I really screw up...  One of the first things I always do in skyrim is pop open the console and FOV 80.

Nice! I keep meaning to try fly cam. I once managed to jump outside of Skyhold with my Inq. And despite a bit of fall damage made a dash for freedom before falling off the map.
