More of a read me.. It's pretty helpful.

 

The basic patch is the bulk of it though. Personally, I'd just recommend that.. VtM is great.. just used to be buggy.

Going to take a DAI break today and fire up Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines instead. Miss T, downloading the patch you told me about as we speak, and thanks again for the tips! Admittedly the tips are totally over my head at the moment as I've not yet played, but I printed them out

To be honest, I am not entirely sure beyond it being a vampire game.  A friend some time ago suggested I get it so I threw it on my wishlist on steam and never gave it another thought.  Popped up with the latest steam sale before Christmas and I ended up getting it after a Miss T endorsement.  Just getting ready to play it for the first time.

Even thought no one asked, it's one of my favorite games.

And it's one of the best RPG (true-cRPG  ) I've played, with unique style and atmosphere. I'm kind of indifferent to vampire's themes in general, but Vampire: The Masquerade — Redemption and VtM: Bloodlines are very refreshing and... unique in the best possible way.

You know, I still need to sink my teeth into that one you suggested and I got on GOG.  Bard's Tale.  I've just been too lazy to go manually download and install it since it isn't yet GOG Galaxy compatible.

 

And patch is all installed for Bloodlines, but I have to do one important thing first on this overcast Saturday afternoon.  NAP!

 

 

Notice how fast, btw, my fur grew back after that totally unprovoked shaving incident??  That's the lyrium, yep.  Magic hair!
