Yeah, what the heck is that all about? My dog will happily chase after me on a big honkin' lawn mower, but the very sight of a vacuum sends her into deep panic mode.

That is gonna be one thing I will have to get used to if I ever actually get a flesh and blood...erm...significant other. No longer being able to use headphones to listen to stuff anymore. Will have to...*gulp*...share.

why? If you're watching a movie or playing a game together I understand, but if each one is doing their own thing it's better to use headphones.

Of the Cyber variety. All three of my relationships have been long distance. I even had a cyber one night stand once that was....an interesting experience.

My dog is responsible for 9/10ths of any reason I have for sweeping and washing the floors (I have almost all wood laminate) especially during shedding season. And get this he Still! refuses to help with that chore. That hound has a lot of nerve.

Oh, ok. Anyway, my point still stands. As long as you're not using the pc/console/tv together it's better to use headphones.

I agree. Though one of my favorite things to do with my...*sigh*...former significant other was watch things. Granted again long distance we could both use headphones or she did whatever the heck she wanted. But alas I imagine that tradition will continue when/ if I do get a sig other in real life. Of course I could end up like my uncle.
