I really, really wish there was something airsoft-related going on this weekend. But if there is, I don't know about it. Not really because I want to shoot people, but because of the entire adrenaline bit of it. Do you know how much adrenaline it is when someone's charging your position, and you got nothing but your rifle and your buddy to count on?

That is not an adrenaline "junkie". An adrenaline junkie would be someone who puts themselves in a position, in which they could actually, physically die; repeatedly. For example, someone who climbs the side of a cliff without safety lines i.e. these guys.

I would consider what you are, is a seeker of war. Similar thing. You want that excitement. But I wouldn't consider air-softing "adrenaline junkie"ish.

That is true, yes. An adrenaline junkie needs adrenaline. Doesn't matter entirely where that comes from. However, there is a difference between craving an experience like cliff climbing or sky diving, and war.

 

Don't get me wrong. I like that you are doing, or want to do something that gets the blood pumping. I only question your use of the term "adrenaline junkie".
