Gurd is the toughest enemy in the entire game. Little ****. *drink* I changed my tactic to full on fire assault. Passed out fire runes, and everyone had fully upgraded antivan fire grenades. Kept gurd focused on me as best as I could because I could dodge his grabby hands and keep him in the fire from the grenades. When focus was up, I got him in a corner, hit him with Mark of the rift, told Solas to use firestorm, and threw so many fire grenades. Who needs cold resistance when you have fire?

I've beaten him legit with my Assassin a few times but in subsequent runs I just switch to Varric and hit him with Hail Of Arrows.

He's not quite Malvernis but definitely one of the harder fights in the series.
On par with the Sky Horror from Mark Of The Assassin IMO.

Kinda tempted to reinstall Inquisition and replay JoH. Good thing i have that option since i have that Josie-wosie feelgood save. No need to start a new game
