There is such a thing as flirting between friends that have no romantic interest in each other. It becomes part of their friendship.

Well gaming is still mostly a man thing i know women are playing games more and more but still the majority out there is still mainly man i'd say 20/80%

Sadly gotta disagree there, but only from personal experiences in meeting people through mmo's etc. I'd say it's closer to 50/50 now, or 40/60.

 

edit: it all depends on the game genre.. first person shooters, definitely more guys. action rpg's like dragon age, mass effect anything with story, some romances and detailed history for companions I see it leaning closer to more female players.

Dragon Age is definitely a female-dominant franchise. Though this is from my shallow observation and looking through Dragon Age blogs on tumblr, all of them owned by women or suspicious '' they/them '' creatures.
