Sadly gotta disagree there, but only from personal experiences in meeting people through mmo's etc. I'd say it's closer to 50/50 now, or 40/60.
edit: it all depends on the game genre.. first person shooters, definitely more guys. action rpg's like dragon age, mass effect anything with story, some romances and detailed history for companions I see it leaning closer to more female players.

Well gaming is still mostly a man thing i know women are playing games more and more but still the majority out there is still mainly man i'd say 20/80%

That figure may have been accurate 20-30 years ago. The figure is closer to 50/50 today. There has been an increase in female gamers in the last decade. And some of us have been playing video games since we started growing baby teeth.
