Is that part of the smooth talking ritual to do some Calibrations  :D

They were pretty firm that they weren't going to touch either the creators or the maker. Though personally i attribute the about-face to BW just being lazy lying liars as usual instead of any malicious agenda on their part :P

Considering the Flemeth and Solas thing had been planned since game one, I'm pretty sure they only said the maker would remain a mystery.

Oh and I fully agree about tumblr being toxic. :pinched: I do have a tumblr, but I'm not as active as I was, cause I'm so sick of seeing so much politics on my dash, when all I want to see is fandom stuff.  <_<

Nah it was both.

But i kinda doubt that they had anything planned beyond a VERY rough outline at the time of Origins. Case in point: Mass Effect and the dark matter plot that was scrapped by game 3.

Source? This is the first I'm hearing they wouldn't touch on the creators. Sorry, I'm trying to find the dev quote without success.

Though I was under the impression you're going for that sweet sweet Shemlen glory?

Yeah. But not that one. ;)

Going through old threads in DAO forum. Thread title of this one caught my attention. http://forum.bioware...id-in-the-fade/

This is all I was able to find, no mention of creators: http://forum.bioware...erics/?p=552817

Clerics in the classic sense of D&D won't work in Dragon Age. There is no proof of the Divine, no 'holy power" as it were, any were such power to suddenly manifest itself that would pretty much handle the issue of the Maker's existence, wouldn't it? And that's not going to happen

Nah, that wasn't it. I seem to recall it was actually an article with the direct quote and not a forum post though. Been trying to find it but no luck :/ It was mentioned a couple of times during the more...heated theological threads after DAI was released though so i know i haven't completely imagined it :P

But i stand by my statement that that bioware has been winging the plot from game to game without any overarching plan :P

Also holy crap people are still posting in the DAO forum?! O_o

Oh, that particular example of Human glory is taken, I'm afraid... Your luck is no better than mine, unless you can, uh, persuade Verse to come back.

And I know better than to try to argue with you. I'll bear the search in mind and keep an eye out.

And just had a CTD. :/ Clearly the game does not want Dirk to strut around Skyhold in naught but a swimsuit. Yes, that was an edit. I shall drink accordingly.

Shouldn't that be "bear" and "naught"?

To bear sth.

Unless you really mean to uncover a search, and not bear (carry it, think of it) it in your mind.

Verb is scrolled down a bit.

Then I am thoroughly confused and have no idea what you could be talking about. I've dragged Dorian with me a majority of my play time and can't think of anything that he says or does that would give a person doubts.

Especially not after going through a romance with him as my Prinxe Aubrey. The man is 100% gay, and gorgeous.

I don't need a dictionary quoted at me, thank you very much. I'm confused as to where 'bear' would go in that sentence of mine? You must forgive me, it was a long hellish night and things are really blurry.

ToP: "Josie, I like you, but you're weird."

Ooooh. Another fucked up night, huh.

And here I thought I caught you. Well, I remember how my own night shifts were...

You mentioned something about "baring a search" which I supposed really isn't about, well, sth being bare.

Oh, I see. I fixed that typo ages ago. I was focused on the second sentence in my post and was looking for where bear would go. Well, you did catch me. I made two errors in that post and it's been quoted so evidence remains.

It was just an exercise for my language skills, really. You're a victim now! :D

No, seriously... if I can do this, I don't need to worry about tests in this particular topic. So thanks, actually. As weird as it sounds.
