Oh, my ribs..
I actually forgot about this before today. *wipes away tears*
Also.. I found another fact that will make you consider some completely unexpected possibilities..
Spoiler
*pointedly raises brows hinting on some earlier "food event"*
Are... are you suggesting that I am perhaps part sloth?!

I've sworn to myself that the next time I have to reinstall DA:O, I am just purchasing it on Steam instead of reinstalling from Origin. Origin has made a nightmare of trying to make it work right whenever I have to reinstall from there. I am not sure what, exactly, they did, but the changes they made to it to make it compatible with the Origin updating process (I assume that is what happened) just botched everything. Thankfully, I have all the old downloads of all the DLCs in both the executable installer and the package installer formats, so I've got that going for me, which is nice.

Pffff
I made a DAO backup on my External Hard Drive sometime ago (when I downloaded a bugfix mod for DAO) don't know if I could just copy that over and try to play?
And yeah, I think it's Origin's fault. Some days ago it kept starting to try to download Leliana's Song and kept failing (I already HAD Leliana's Song, no idea why it wanted to reinstall it )
Edit: Funnily, the DLCs would install just fine, only DAO itself is having problems.
Have I ever mentioned I hate the spiders and hakkonites along the river in the Frostback Basin? *drink* Copying this rant over from another location because this is so much my problem right now: "They are so incredibly annoying with their fast spawn rates and spawning so close that you can't really get around any of them and then they spawn by hakkonites and next thing you know you're fighting five hakkonites four spiders and a bogfisher and you barely get out of that fight alive but then another group of spiders spawned and now you're trying to run away but your companions are dead set on killing them... *deep breath*"
