For as long as it has indeed been, I was fairly preoccupied with a far-from-unwelcome influx of new clients. After the bulk of which requiring my actual presence, I decided to do some well-overdue travelling by visiting Southeast Asia friends in India, Indonesia and Japan. Using nothing but the aforementioned actual presence to scare the living shyte out of the tiny locals on three different islands; I picked up Dark Souls 3 upon my return thereof to find out for myself what being scared of lean, mean, dark creatures that are considerably larger than myself must have felt like.

 

I trust I didn't miss anything. After taking myself so very seriously, a much more due: How is everyone of you fine folks holding up?

I still play DAI regularly, but I also stay for the enjoyable company here. New people come to the forums, the same five topics get rehashed. This place is my internet home.  And everyone knows any game BioWare releases in the future will fail and be total crap.

I'd only say it will suck because ME was fine as it was. It's not a cow that needed to be milked. And I'm not sure there's enough milk left anyways.

Honestly, I say ME is great because they managed to establish a more or less vivid universe with a believeable inner mechanism, which you could spin on forever. All of the things in the Shepard trilogy individually could provide sufficient grounds for a closer look. Now, however, they need to be able to pull the same trick, which is considerable as it was, again.

 

I'm not saying they couldn't do it, which would be empirically presumptous; I'm more afraid that either the bulk of the narrative or the media attention will be forced to focus on "why we do this despite you-know-what".

 

I'm fine with it. We cool. Just Mass Effect me good.
