I really want to go back and try that game again but all those other people ugh I hate even the thought of having to play with other people I don't know or can't communicate with properly. *hiss*

You don't need other people at all, the stories are solo player content. Just close the chat and if you come across others, imagine they're NPCs xD

Pick a PvE server. Crank up "ignoring surroundings" to eleven. Enjoy.

 

I can recommend Sith Inquisitor. Until you get to Tatooine at least, because I found that one to be a drag (a drag with powerful enemies and vast open spaces, Hissing Wastes are smaller, I swear). Then there's Jedi Knight which is also good, but not as much as the Inquisitor.

 

 (I've actually never tasted tea, but I never will.)

Loving it other than being incapable of settling on a favourite weapon at the moment.
I can't decide between my rapier or the curved sword I picked up recently or my trusty spear.

Yep. I always start with Dexterity then move onto a character where with a big ass hammer.

Did originally, then cocked up most of the NPC story arcs. Decided to just start over. Went with Dexterity and I'm loving it. I'm using that Katana you can get just to the side of the Firelink Shrine. It's skill move is so damn good!

Ahh Dark Souls and it's story arcs that are barely explained if at all.
I usually screw them up the first time although I get them on the one where I'm building for PVP.

The Uchigatana is always good though, especially for a weapon you can usually pick up early.
I can never bring myself to use one with a shield though.
