As long as you don't make spelling mistakes, you "write right" even with your left hand :P

Edit: Someone from Austria once told me I would write "wrong", just because I wasn't using the German Eszett ( ß <--)

Switzerland doesn't use the Eszett wie just write two S

example: the word scale

der Maßstab  <-- German Spelling

der Massstab <-- Swiss-German Spelling

Gotcha! I'll just sit here with my navel and contemplate on that edit B) .

Fun fact: I had to copy that Eszett from a german online dictionary, because I have no idea which key's I'd even had to click on my swiss keyboard to write it.

In return we get some french letters é à è

Spoiler

Danke, meine Freundin.

;)

Tho, the german words for "friend" are really complicated

Freund = (male) friend, but also boyfriend

Freundin = (female) friend, but also girlfriend

Freunde = plural for friends, BUT can also just mean male friends

Freundinnen = plural only for female friends, BUT can also mean girlfriends, like "Ich hatte viele Freundinnen" (I had many girlfriends)  <-- tho you could also say "Ich hatte viele Freunde" (Ich had many friends) but that sounds more like you don't have many friends anymore and not like you had many boyfriends.

Oh? I missed the D? That was a typo. The mistake in "meine" is definitely just me sucking at German, though.

Also I had no idea it was universal for both just-friend friend and girlfriend...

Edit: STOP THEM TYPO'S... *drinks straight from the bottle*

GIven how people treated DAI and how Witcher is the most innovative thing since awesome bread, this review gives me a good chuckle.

Don't worry, I have the same problem with the english a/an infront of some words. Then I have to remind myself "if there's a vovel at the beginning, there needs to be a "n" "

It is, can get really confusing  :D

Ah, yes, typos, saw one in one of my own posts just now. Wrote "wie" instead of "we" (Wie = how)  the pronucation is nearly the same tho.

I don't know about innovative, but at least they kept true to narrative driven gameplay, combined with an open world. Few games do that well. And DAI isn't one of them. It's not merely different. It's better.

I think DAI probably did it better then the Witcher in all honesty.

Yeah, I don't know if you're serious.... in all honesty. :P

I can still like the general idea of DA, but it's open world is full of pointless sidequests. One approach is clearly better than the other.

I find it so hard to wrap my head around DA:I to be honest, it was kind of this chaotic mix of things.

I think you can basically respect it though, clearly the product of lots of effort and all that, plus I think they created a few memorable characters personally like Cass.

I definitely hear Gerald rofl...

Which is almsot funny, I've played 2 and some of 3 but still call him Gerald if mentioning in conversation, by accident not on purpose.

Yeah.  Or just pretending to be asleep.

This is Staches we're talking about. Pretending to sleep wouldn't work, they'd just try to 'wake' him up. Whereas intentionally being an idiot gives him a window of confusion to get away. Also, pretending to be asleep is not fun compared to being an idiot on purpose.

Okay something isn't likely to get me high as well. Though I may be confusing it what happened with cough syrup before

I'll just have a soda for now then. Don't have the money to cover a tab anyhow.

Well and that's why from a narrative perspective I am torn.  DA I is the better game, but the better game for narrative and story telling? Hard to say  It has the better cast of characters, bad guys, better plot, has actual examples of diversity, has a much deeper world...but it does have those pointless side quests which makes all these awesome elements in the game feel a bit...disconnected.
