Hm I didn't figure you for the religious sort haha! Although my guess is this comic isn't exactly "religious."
I am religious, but that is a pretty sacrilegious comic.
And yet I can't resist chuckling at it.

It all kinda reminds me of Nicholas D. Wolfwood

It's not..
Jesse is "cursed" with "The Word of God". He can make ANYONE do ANYTHING he wants.
He can even tell someone to go screw themselves, and they will literally sit and torture themselves until they actually accomplish it.

Oh.
Well.
Oh.
Well.
The story is more about how he's found out and how many people either want to exploit him or want him dead.
But it's mostly funny.
4200 has been achieved on the V-day. Splendid...
It shouldn't be a set day. It should be everyday, because mums do so much for us (unless they are generally horrible people and don't care about you). It's like valentines day. Do I really need a specific day to say "I love you mum"?
I dunno, sometimes it's nice to be woken up with offerings of donuts and chintzy construction paper greeting cards with heart stickers all over them.

Victory Day is Ninth of May.Katusha and Farewell of Slavianka. We remember.Aaaand I'm logging out in order not to post anything... off-topic?..
Before you go, do people celebrate Victory day more in Europe?
That's pretty cool, if so.

Vychadila na bereg Katyusha, na vysokyj bereg na krutoj. Vychadila, piesnu zavadila...
(See? I just suck at rewriting Russian text! I also kind of prefer the Partisan Song personally.)
We kind of celebrate on the 8th. Might be different in Russia, since 8th is when the German garrison in Prague capitulated, but Berlin did so on the 9th or something like that. Also why I prefer to call it "Liberation Day" rather than "Victory Day"

I mean I had heard of it, but when I read V-day just know my first thought was /V-day? Valentine's Day was some months ago.../

Oh, yeah. It touched us, so you see some stuff.
This year, the annual celebration of the meeting of the Americans under the command of Gen. Patton and the Red Army had to be cancelled, because they brought in a T-34-85, and someone threatened them with death, calling them "Russophiles"... So this year, there was no battle reenactment near Pilsen, as I understand.
I didn't even know that were a thing

Funny...

I don't mean it bad. Switzerland, however, decided to nope out on the entire war, thus they wouldn't be celebrating anything.
They arguably had the right idea, because they were the only European country to just roll their thumbs while the rest of the war was off the deep end of madness.

I don't think it's bad either. It just makes sense in a funny way.
I respect Switzerland's main stance for the most part. The world is good with someone like that. I just don't think every country has the luxury.
I went to Europe (France) once and there was only time/choice of going to Switzerland or Germany, ultimately opted for Switzerland.... pretty amazing place to be honest.
And yeah I got a Swiss army knife while I was there.
