The new Doom is dumb? I heard it was good :\

Of course, old Carmack/Romero Doom was dumb.. but fun for the time.

Sure.. but I would think the gamey-ness apart isn't so much up for opinion. I expect the actual content to be silly though.

I tried ordering that computer again.. hopefully my bank doesn't screw things up again. Then I can have good HAIR in DAI. Wow. Yay.

I'm replaying my City Elf... this time darker... like his mom. The last version was a blend of both parents. :P

As I said earlier, I don't think anybody plays Doom for an amazing narrative  I certainly don't expect it to have one. I expect it to be silly, much like the original. I mean, that was the point of the reboot into the modern age. That's the charm.

If a game is fun, I don't care about strong narrative. One of the best gaming experiences I had recently was the remastered Deadpool. Sure, it was repetitive and a lot of people said it sucked but I had a blast.

I heard that Deadpool was good elsewhere. Maybe I'll look into it. :)

I'm surprised you're buying a brand new pc to have a better hairstyle in a game you openly despise

it's a joke.. :P

I have a lot of steam games too. Some I can play, some not so well.

It's more about rejoining the Master Race though.

Oh that reminds me. You were wondering about Valkyria Chronicles? The remaster is for the PC, not the PlayStation 4. It's on my steam wish-list but I can't run it.

Apparently there's a PS4 version...just not out yet..

Not sure what needs to be remastered though. The original was cell shaded.. nothing too intensive.

edit: Actually the release date is now.. May 17

Have you played the older version? It's fun... if you have a PS3 lying around.

I was gonna replay a Dalish instead of CE today and I ran across that. It made me not know where to start..

There's a lot of symbolism in the Warden.. no matter what Vallaslin you choose. The Warden and Merrill are kind of like Falon'Din, searching for their lost brother Dirthammen (Tamlen..who has the Dirthammen tats and talks about secrets). But Falon'Din is a bastard. That's mostly what feels dirty.

Going for a June tat is the safest choice, if you want to pay tribute to the gods. Because there isn't anything to know about him. And maybe Ghilan'nain too, since she's just originally one of the People.

What I like about the City Elf is their name (Tabris) means angel of free will. They are products of Fen'Harel. But not like Fen'Harel himself. They are free to define themselves as they see fit. This is good for roleplaying.

Oh the irony of a 'peoples revolution' condemning its children to slavery....

Wait, that's actually how those things usually go. Well done BW :P

The thing is, they seem to have taken it upon themselves to further that cause. They just need help.. I think that's why Andraste and Shartan are so cool.

I think it's up to us to further it or not. But Solas doesn't care anymore either way.
