Ugg...Saturday Night - drink is getting low. Who didn't pay the liquor license this week?

Looking forward to doing all that over again with my girl Artemis.
ToP: Yeah, this one.

Got to the Fade level in DAO... and almost fell asleep at my keyboard...literally.
I'll do this another time.
Whose bright idea was it to make another game with even more Fade? Did they not get the memo? This **** sucks.
Nothing is that tortourous in DA I...just sayin. ![]()
^Except the entire game. xD
I liked the Fade in DAO. The Deep Roads can go suck a lemon.
I'm the reverse I adored the Deep Roads. In pretty much all its incarnations. Well except for Golems of Amapoop.
Execution wise, I'll agree.
It's still not a theme that interests me though. I wanted more of the stuff we talked about. I'm pretty sure both Gaider and Weekes are the exact type of guys I'd never want to play DnD with. Wizard nerds...who write wizard nerd stuff. And less of the other things.
Lukas should write a main game.
I didn't like the Deep Roads in DAO either, but I still would like to see a game heavy dwarven centric...all in the Deep Roads.

I have no clue what he did in DAI besides Sera -- but she's what I like about him. He also did Aveline, lots of stuff in DA2 (like the Qunari plot), lots of sarcastic Hawke apparently. Leliana's Song. He seems better with all the down to earth stuff I like.

Heh. *shrugs* I want my cake and eat it too.
Ah, so I see he did do that quest. That was cool, but not really a standout writing moment, is it. Lots of action.

It isn't that. I can always go to other fantasy settings and get what I want. Lots of stories that are more military or rogue centric than them.
I just think Lukas can do it too.
Okay attempting to adjust my schedule to match my work one slightly better, hopefully having a binge of DAI and soda will help keep me up until 8ish in the morning today.
Its not that either. I love down in the dirt type narratives which feature huge examples of character development and personal character arcs. But on the flip side of the issue I want to feel like A. I made a difference and B. I am a part of a larger world and a huge epic high level story too. And with the Witcher, I did not feel that, I did not fee any connection to that world at all. There was no higher arching meat and potatoes philosophy it was only a character piece, a very good one, but it was crack cocane. DA was, and has been from the beginning, meat and potatoes. Which is ironic because one of Inquisition's failings was the fact it was so lifeless in terms of population, but it felt far more livlie in the world we were trying to save.

I dislike most epic stories. I hate it even more in CRPGs. Because there's no true "fellowship" or team of friends like pnp. The "Epic-ness" just gets centered on one character/player.
And then Bioware wonders why they're attracting such nasty entitled people, who end up turning on them. lol. It's because the type of stories they write gravitate towards that to begin with.
I don't mean you btw.. don't take it personally. Or even me. It's only when this need has outweighed everything else. But I'd rather see it avoided more often.

Ugh, I'd not be able to stand a game like that--not the dwarf stuff (give me all the lore about all races), but the Deep Roads. I tolerated The Descent. Barely. And that's just a Deep Roads DLC.
Oh, the first Witcher is on Steam for $1, and it's the enhanced edition! Been wondering if I want to play it, and needed an excuse to buy it.
Good to know. Bought that and the 2nd one since it was dirt cheap also.
I think I'm about Uncharted out. Finished the game three times in a week and a half. Damn gorgeous game. Gon take the week off from gaming or mess around with mods, I haven't decided. Either way I'll still be drinking my fair share of Dr Pepper.
Doughnut version is not in 4. They removed it.

I know.
He was already coded into the game too.

:| This saddens me deeply.
