Like, why am I being put with people that are around level 10 and under?! I'm 32. Why the hell am I being teamed up with these lot, when the enemy team are all my level? There is a huge difference in experience there! This match making is fucked. This isn't the first time it's happened either. It keeps happening! I can't do **** with a team that just doesn't know how to play their characters!

No no. There is only one level system in Overwatch, and that is the player level. You get every character right from the get-go, and any additional characters (and maps) that release will also be given to you to use as you wish. You can be good at a hero, but there is nothing to say, besides time played as them, that you are actually good with it. This is so that everyone is, in essence, on the same level.
