I found the Crows but they said a mutt (a mutt!) would not make a good Crow and kicked me back out onto the road. Well, I showed them! I waited to spot an assassin trailing after his mark. I took care of him, and completed his contract. Took it back to the Crows and long story short, they still didn't want me. Said I had failed to fulfill the contract in the specified way (I brought them the body when it was supposed to be left there). Now I have a contract on myself.

 

I'm heading towards Rivain now, making my way through the jungles and avoiding the roads. It is a miracle this letter has found you, if it has indeed found you. The pup... the pup is supposedly mine. Before finding the Crows, I stopped off at an old acquintances and discovered, to my surprise, a litter. It's been too long since I've been here, so I question whether they are actually mine but, eh, I found some uses for them.

 

So anyway, I may see you all again someday.

And in case i got you confused, i'm talking about this Callisto from Xena:

 

Imagine the most psychotic Joker who looks like Harley Quinn without the clown suit and makeup. With magic. While also being basically immortal the same way the Arch Demons are in DA.

She wont be the "hero" Thedas wants, but the one it oh-so-richly deserves

Completed Niamh's Trespasser run last night - my first time able to use cinematic tools with it. It was SO much fun  . Unfortunately, now, that means her PT is complete - and that always makes me sad for awhile.

Anyway, something else completely unrelated to blood and definitely nothing to do with wine will have my attention for awhile. 

 

I am becoming hopefully apprehensive for EA Play in a couple of weeks.  Yep - gonna need a few drinks. Glad to see the tavern is filling back up with - don't forget to watch your step. I am not sure where the traps are any more or which ones are left. Cabot I think has a blueprint - he must - ever since he came back from the surgeons, he has been suspiciously free to move around.

I really need to get a move on with Arty's PC adventure. The only thing holding me back is this writing bug I seem to have developed. I don't want to ruin the creative flow.

The funny thing about Awakening is that it is a LOT better with how it handles you being more than just a leader of an adventuring party. You have actual responsibilities to your realm!

 

....Though i admit i didn't give a crap about the main plot towards the end. Canon Mahariel was sick and tired of playing shemlen politics, hated the companions (except the lady dwarf) and missed Morrigan and just killed every tainted when they tried to talk to him (ewww)

Xena holds up so ridiculously well . Back when campy was actually campy and not a fake attempt at it...

 

Honestly I prefer Awakening to DA2 and I easy, to be honest.

I've sort of reimagined my current Orlesian warden as a dwarf instead of human this time (my mahariel is dead....again). Awakening has sort of a dwarf bent, so that's kind of unique.

I like the characters from Awakening honestly better than those in Origins, Nathaniel, Velanna, Sigrun, short time with them but they were more varied and interesting and I kept hoping Awakening would last longer.

 

Plus that swamp was so creepy... just really hyper detailed and interesting graphically. Plus, Architect.

I know! Steam is counting down the hours - I am sure it was supposed to be helpful, but it only encourages my tendencies to have tantrums due to not being instantly gratified.

I've always phrased that action as a bop, lol. But if you want something a little less cutesy I'd say...swat or thwack?
