Definitely the week before E3--my twitter is full of video game news/trailers/announcements/teasing/speculation. Remind me next year to take the week of E3 off work.

This reminds me of how I ended up visiting the Lord of the Pies, and thought it would have been funnier if they could have used "The Girl From Ipanema" for the music box sounds. Perfect for all those in-between places, like elevators, the crossroads, Purgatory, the time between dinner and cake.

So, my habit of just shooting everything that moves made me rather unwelcome at Diamond City.  I went a bit off the beaten path and when I saw turrets up ahead I just blasted them.  It turned out they belonged to Diamond City Security.  They were rather miffed.  I ended up shooting one of their soldiers and then exchanging shots with Piper.

 

I reloaded an earlier save. 

 

Note to self:  If it's not trying to kill you, refrain from shooting it until you know what's going on.
