Been lost in Skyrim, as I last said... I forgot how great this game is. Especially now that I can mod.

 

 

I'm realizing though that I can't go crazy with mods... their scripting system is trash. I wonder if Fallout is better.

Be careful with the texture mods too, the 32 bit engine gets cranky loading certain areas no matter how cool the video card is.

The gaming world needs it. It isn't like anyone else (especially EA) would make something this extensive.

Yes, they really, really need to bring a new game engine to the table, for all their next games. They should have built one for FO4. I've seen a lot of critics complain about that part of the game.

I think PC gaming is having another resurgence maybe. Maybe they'll do that. Everyone keeps consoles in mind, so it probably wasn't necessary to them. But now even consoles could benefit.

 

On another note, I'm recommending the Steam controller.. I don't know if it works with Dragon Age, but otherwise, it's pretty nice. You can even use the right side as a flat surface to mimic a mouse pointer. Not perfect, but better than always switching peripherals.

If you don't plan on playing DA:I in the near future, save all of the stuff on an external hard drive to get a lot of space. Then if you do want to play again you won't have to download it again and wait forever. :x
