Bethesda?

The makers of Fallout and Elder Scrolls.  Last year at E3 they debuted Fallout 4.  Was hoping for an Elder Scrolls VI surprise this year, but apparently it's unlikely.  Obviously it's not part of the EA stream, but I assume it's on an E3 stream or something.  Need go find it, I guess.

ETA:  Lynja'd!

ETA 2:  ToP again...  *sighs*  Oghren, Mr. smooth talker.

Yeah, they make games like The Elder Scrolls and Fallout. (Yes, I'm being a dick there) It's E3, every major publisher is having a conference.

I know who Bethesda are. I was curious why Bethesda are having a conference in an hour. Doesn't E3 start in a couple of days?

Bethesda has always had their conference separate from E3. It's more cost effective for them to fund it themselves rather than renting space for a conference at E3. Still a part of E3 though. E3.

Well that was a very cool looking teasler there.  Was there any more info revealed beyond that?

Reminded me of the early footage for DAI, which isn't bad.

Interesting.  Didn't remind me that much of it.  Of course we all know that DA I looked nothing like its E3 press demo /snark.

Me too!  Ah Oghren how I loathe thee.

Ah. That makes sense. So It's EA following Bethesda (kinda) then.

I'm going to have to watch it some other time I'm afraid. It's now 10pm here, and I have to go into Uni tomorrow. :(

Honestly as much as I disliked Skyrim I might be tempted to pick up a remastered version so I could finally finish the story.

What story?  /rhetorical question

...Oh, after lusting over these amazing tablets they have there, I think I need some alone time

Exactly.  I mean SKyrim had a main quest line anyways but no story, no real character interaction, just...look at the pretty pretty scenary.  Which I loathed.

The real question: What will ME A get as a tier rating given all of its production problems?  Of course DA I had plenty of problems too and look how that turned out.

Yet you love Inquisition? The only thing separating Skyrim from Inquisition is the character (not the protagonist) development in Inquisition. The game is still "look at the pretty, pretty scenery".

Yeah, it's **** in the eyes of many people. It's not a "good" game. It's marmite.

Which makes all the difference in the world.  Couple that with a solid story that was obviously different and better in quality then those of the side quests and a pretty great combat system and then the personal nature of how much the story resonated with me which I believe I have covered in sufficient length elsewhere in the forums...and DA I is a great game, to me.  I mean DA I and Skyrim had a lot in common but there are things the two games do that are different from each other beyond 'pretty pretty game'.

And I do not care about the opinions of other people.  If I did I would probably go a hand wringing over Presidential Elections.

Yeah... But to be fair Skyrim modding community is so amazing that you can find so many different mods to enhance story and interaction. Too bad I'm burn out by whole game to try it out.

That only brings more questions to my mind, but I'll stop being unpleasant.
