Sounds like a lot of fun, some really interesting evolutions and changes. And, yeah, I do kind of forget it's a "shooter" and not as "automatic" as DA games areYeah
starts to interest me too. (getting lost while exploring? aww yes)
I'm just...not a fan of shooters.

If they remain human only and get some focus, maybe. I'm not sure if that's a good reason or not, but it worked well enough for Hawke and Shep.

I didn't know they had a family... that sounds cool. I was hoping to play mine as a scientist...maybe a smartass, if I can. Like snarky Hawke or Joker.

My biggest problem is just...I don't like guns.
Give me swords, or bows and stuff, I just don't want to shoot people with bullets.
Same reason why I'm stuck in Mirror's Edge (the first one), I'm supposed to escape from a room full of cops, by climbing up a pipe, but I can't do that without getting killed. According to a guide I'm supposed to disarm one of the cops and then kill the others....
I'm playing a pacificst. I don't kill. Disarming, okay, but shooting them? No way. ![]()

I don't know (never played ME) but I spoiler tagged it anyway.

Yeah, it's tricky to play that one that way - you're just forced to fight and kill on occasion. I think it's a bit off when you can play the rest of a game as a pacifist that it forces that on you.

I only say because Ash (and others) expressed a preference for spoilering regarding MEA info.

I never thought about it, but that does make sense. Wouldn't be a bad idea to keep those options open. I only know a few FPS games and even then it's limited (Dishonored and Deus Ex).

Yeah, especially when they tell you that you don't have to kill anyone. ![]()

I know, which is why I try to tag everything (or just post links, so everyone can go and look for themselves if they want)
btw Xenoblade gave me headache @__@ forgot how bad the camera movement is.

Should I feel guilty for using adblock? This is actually the first time I've done it.... but Nexus mods pushed me here. That site is atrocious.

Nope, I use adblock and I have a membership at the nexus site. Adblock everywhere. If a web site needs to make revenue, they need to do it without annoying its users.

I use adblock too, mostly because there are so many annoying pop ups everywhere. ![]()
Most ads wouldn't bother me, but that constant "LOOOK! LOOK AT ME! I'M IN THE MIDDLE OF YOUR SCREEN AND YOU CAN'T CLOSE ME WITHOUT ENDING ON A SUSPICIOUS HOMEPAGE!!!" was just, ugh. ![]()

It did far more than annoy... those flash video ads would kick me down to force watch them..lol... and the site just crawled to pre-56k speeds sometimes. I understand making money, but don't be a jerkoff about it.

Good and fair question! Personally, for me, it depends on the site. I bought a lifetime membership at Nexus because I use the crap out of it and think they deserve either membership dues or ad revenue. A few other sites I'll whitelist if I care about the site and if their ads are not the obtrusive, hellishly annoying kinds. Beyond that, adblock all the way, baby. Really looking forward to the Windows 10 summer update when Edge will be able to use adblock so I can abandon Firefox.
Ultimately, it's going to be up to the site. If they determine that they just cannot live without ads being forced on you, they are capable of denying you access to the site if they detect an ad blocker being used. If they haven't taken that step, IMHO, it means they're giving you tacit approval to use their site with an adblocker enabled.
ETA: My comment on Nexus wasn't meant to suggest you should stop using an adblock there. That was just my personal take on how I use it. See the second paragraph for how I think it should apply to everyone else.

I signed up just because I've downloaded so much from them for just about all of my pc games. Skyrim... probably the worst download bandwidth offender. ![]()

Another site that sucks is all those wiki sites...like the one for DA.
I think I'm more annoyed at the incompetence of the scripting. The same way I hate scripting errors anywhere. lol

Don't remind me, I use the DA wiki for when I play DAO and DA2 (I think I can play DAI without a walkthrough now xD) and the ads are everywhere. ![]()
