I'm really disappointed in all of you. Not a single one of you guys knew to point out that the 440 was not, in fact, a hemi engine. Slackers.
I'm guilty of not being a gear head.

Do you use Texmod?
I haven't used a single mod in DA2 so far.

That requires me to have knowledge about cars and engines. This is my car knowledge: that picture was a car. ![]()

Huh, I've seen the rainbow landscape textures glitch but not the skulls on the ground glitch. Looked like Texmod putting a texture somewhere screwy. Weird.

That was a first for me too.
I consider it to be an easter egg, afterall, Kirkwall was built on the bones of slaves. ![]()

There's a lot of useful minor ones, but it's never all that necessary.
For example, leveling up weapons with the character. It annoys me that Isabela's iconic daggers need this. If I mod DAI, I'll be getting that Inquisitor Sword/Shield schematic for Cass too. It's a good design.

I've never used a mod for it either, and I think I do use directx10 or 11.. never had an issue still. *drinks*

BRAVO! *throws mug at lynroy*
That's all I figured too but I won't admit that.. much
I still use the DX 9 option... it sucks without it, even on my higher end pcs (high end for that game at least).
edit: It's not gonna make much difference with most things anyways...especially face textures, which are cartoony and smooth. It's highly stylized.
Trying to decide if Val Royeux would have 'sewers' or not, and if not then what would be the Orlesian equivalent? Also musing on the nature of role playing in role playing games.

I think in CRPGs, there's only so much you can do. A real GM and friends makes roleplaying dynamic. With computers, I think we're actually better off taking cues from linear action adventure and more scripted/limited pathways.
Either that or try to be really open and barely tell stories (TES).
Sooo convenient being Inky and not having to worry about such plebeian things as sewers.

Does that help with the glitches mentioned?

I haven't been paying full attention, sorry. I caught that someone had some issue... but I do know DX9 runs very smoothly. And it wouldn't make much of a difference to beef anything up anyways. The game is kind of limited by design. They cleverly gave the look of the game some personality even with crappy graphics (it's essentially just an upgraded DAO engine). Kind of like Blizzard does with all of their games. It isn't trying to be realistic, so the demand to push it further doesn't help.

Well I mean, in CRPGS anyways, there are really two ways of role playing (Self inserts for the sake of this argument are not 'role playing') Either you go in with a vast amount of planning and head cannoning and coming up with a vast back story which helps inform whatever actions your character makes. Or you make it up as you go along. Making decisions as they occur within the game and having those be touch stones for your character.

I use one mod in DAO (a bug fix to keep my Warden's Keep armor/items in the other DLCs) and some in DAI (bug fix for Cole's hats schematics, craftable Ardent Blossom, Ardent Blossom retint, Casual wear retint, etc)
She does? I can't remember if her daggers level, or not.
Which schematic/mod is that? I'm happy with giving Cass the The Knight's Second so far. ![]()

I looked at the DA2 patches and there it says:
Various issues specific to DirectX 11 no longer occur.
yeah...no... ![]()

yeah.. I'd tend to not trust that sometimes. It's been a while since I played DA2 so not sure exactly which dx version it would auto-run using. I do have 10 and 11 versions on my pc. Yes, my games pick and choose between them on their own >.> sometimes I need to fix that.

I use this... http://www.nexusmods...ge2/mods/3268/?
All Items Evolve. It just works like the DLC items that Hawke gets... but for everything. It doesn't make them overpowered or add new stats.. just evolves the existing ones.
Other stuff I use is very minor like I said. Like making Orana less ugly lol
The Andromeda post got some updates.
Ash do not look! The post is full with spoilers.

Me neither. Ah
I only have 11.
This is a good Zev fix that Bioware actually planned.. but didn't put in the game. I've been adding stuff like this to Skyrim too. I like these kind of bug fix mods.

Weird.. you should have multiple implementations of Direct X. I never heard of only having DX11.
Either way, the game was originally designed around DX9... that's why I think it's stable.

Oh, that one's cool.

Stuff like that is always nice.
For DAI I really recomment the Cole's hats schematics fix otherwise Cole won't have hair when you craft him one of his hats. ![]()
Yeah, I planned on updating whatever schematics I can... when I can get around to the game.
Catacombs!

Just remembered, I need the Zevran Romance Dialogue Fix, my current Warden is romancing Fenris.

I should? Hmm, I'm gonna repeat the search again.... nope, only DirectX 11. ![]()
I use Win8.1.
