Eh? Well if you like it that much it's fine I just didn't think it was crazy interesting to be a card game, feels like Hearthstone has that all down.

I like Fenris one of my fav characters, actually DA2 had a lot of great characters. Being a bit of a pro templar anti mage guy in these games I love Fenris owning some of the magey mages in that game in banter.
DA2 had the cast of characters I like the least. I like Varric and.....Yeah, just Varric. I couldn't stand Fenris's "Oh, I'm so angry and broody, and I hate mages--they are the reason everything sucks. Grrr." And Gideon Emery's voice got on my nerves. /drink That said, I still enjoyed all the banter between them.
Quaterfinal match has kicked off and I have to go to work. This is unacceptable! /drinking drinking

Major Armstrong is hard to write, at least for me.
*drinks*
I bet writing an Armstrong is a tradition passed down the Armstrong-line since forever...
Seriously, how am I supposed to write someone like this?

Trying out a new game tonight. Horrible character creator, but the intro cutscenes were pretty good, so I'm hopeful.

Hehe, nope. Just my poor attempt at humor at Gerald's expense. ![]()

I worry you may have made Armstrong too neutral and formal. He needs a little extra flair.

*wonders if she should continue the scene with something like this*
But it's a great effort! I'm enjoying the scene. It just reads a little more like Hawkeye speaking.

Try announcing all his phrases in a booming voice, if it just sounds like a train station announcer then it isn't Armstrong.

I feared as much
I mean, I knew he was booming and stuff, but I also know that he's pretty polite. (also I once considered Lan Fan to express her worries, but the words didn't suit her)
Thanks, glad to hear
I should've swapped them
the only two reasons I have to have Major Armstrong there are a.) If I have Hawkeye at the scene, I need Mustang there too and b.) Major Armstrong participated in the raid of the Devil's Nest, so he knows what happened to the other Chimeras and the Pub after the raid.

He's polite yes, but he almost speaks in older english. Think Victorian, almost - that leads back to his whole Armstrong lineage thing.I feared as much

You could almost ask if Greed seemed different by tacking on "Perceptiveness is an Armstrong trait that has been passed down for generations!" Or something, lol.

After falling to my death in W3, I decided that was enough witcher for one night, so I fired up ol' Beren in Inquisition and came across a cutscene.
Didn't expect this scene. I thought this had already been settled when I told him to begin taking the lyrium again in his office, but as I was leaving the armory after a quicky smoochie session with my sweet baby Cassie, a cut scene with Cullen began. Pretty much confirmation of Beren being a bastard, I guess.
I'm sorry it's not the complete scene. It caught me off guard and I didn't think to start fraps recording until it was basically over. ![]()
