I'm not trying to discourage talking about other interests. This thread has welcomed all sorts of topics and has even discussed topics that usually set the forums ablaze. We all have a variety of interests, and I've not been many places on the forum where people can have these discussions without all the vitriol that usually comes with it. That's why I like this thread, all of you make it interesting. I apologize if it seems like I'm trying to control the conversation at times--that is not my intent.

I was hoping Ramsay would have been flayed alive, but being torn apart by his own hounds is just as satisfactory.

Alrighty, i'm about ready to declare Fallout 4 the best role-playing game, emphasis on the role-playing part, since KOTOR 2 and Neverwinter Nights 2. The way it supports development of the player character is just beautiful.  All the twists and turns of my Eliza's character have been..."organic" for a lack of a better word. Playing her, i've never felt that the control of who she is has been ripped away from me *side eyes ME3* .  The game has its own problems, but as a role-playing experience it is in a class of its own.

 

Oh, and the main story is nearing its inevitable, heartbreaking end for Eliza. An end she knew was coming but one that she had hoped, with the desperation of a mother, would not have to happen.

 

Poor Eliza. It's been a rough few months for her

Though once again, cinema has pulled out what I like to call "the eagles" (oddly fitting), at just the right moment to turn the tide. I kinda am sick of this, and it no longer has the same atmospheric effect on me. I just roll my eyes.

 

Also, with Ramsey, I was kinda hoping his death would be a little more barbarous - even though it was a bloody good one. What I would have done is instead of having him tied to a chair, I would time him upside down onto one of his own crosses, echoing The Flayed Man which sits on the Bolton banners. And then let the dogs have at him.

 

And Rickon! Poor lad. I am glad the continued with the same actor though, even if it was a grand total of five minutes. It just wouldn't have been right if they recast him for those few minutes.

Gaming is literally all I've done the past 8 days.. well, and sleeping for 10hrs+ at a time. Anxiety does that, and gaming helps me forget the anxiety a lot. Keeps me sane. 2 days until everything is back to normal!
