Speaking of games, I had told myself I wouldn't use a Walkthrough OR a wiki for my first Jade Empire PT.

Yeah, that lasted long....

I'm still working on my first play through, and so far I've avoided it, but I'll probably end up right where you are...

 

I try to do one run through of any game without the guides, and then after that I'm referencing them frequently

Reminds me, I still need to finish Jade Empire. I started it after finishing Inquisitor Maeve, didn't get far, then went right back to DAI and created a dwarf. At least I kept it within the BioWare family. *drink to jumping games* *drink to unfinished games*

It's been brought up over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over to leave that out of the thread. It doesn't belong on the forum either. Joking or not, someone will take you seriously and engage in a discussion that most readers do not want while putting the thread close to lockdown.

Uhm no, I literally don't want it mentioned because it will bring up the actual topic, whether you're joking or not. which I'm currently trying to escape from. My entire news feed on social media is blown up with terrible things; I come here to escape that.

JE's fun. I'm now in Chapter 3 doing side quests and trying to avoid the main quest. Which didn't really work, cause I walked right into a cutscene when I went to a different map, at least I have now 9 of 12(?) companions xD

 

Also I learned from the JE wiki that you can romance three charas. Well, with a male chara, with a female chara you can romance two. (your childhood friend is only attracted to a male PC) I don't really like Silk Fox, so I'm torn between romancing Dawn Star and Sky. I like them both D:

I only opened the wiki, cause I couldn't figure out where I had to go. (I miss DAI Plotflags and being able to set quest markers) I mean, you do get flags for people you have to talk to, to start quests. But flags that tell you where to go? Not really....

 

Same, well, for most games.

Got a Witcher playthrough. Ever since I bought it. That's November 2015, shortly after N7 day.

 

It's boring, and I fully agree with Yahtzee calling it a "Mumorpeger." It's boring, it's about running from one end of the map to the other, the combat system is annoying and omnipresent, and the story and universe are so unengaging I could vomit.
